  1. It's awesome man, instantly had so much more clarity when I hooked the emotiva up. But with distribution stopped in Australia, might be worth going with something else?
  2. Front baffle is now covered and looking good Krix atmospherix are now installed Carpet is in! I'm so happy that's over, there has been concrete dust all over my house for months haha We bought that same couch from the last post, it's really good. Got it from danks Wall acoustics are up, my windows are behind these panels. It worked so well, you wouldn't even know they were there Right side wall Inside my horrible roof space running cables. We are now in and watching movies, its so amazing.
  3. Hey guys, im just wondering if it is ok to run my Sony projector and my anamorphic lens off of the same power in the back of my isotek Aquarius evo 3, using a double adapter? I'm assuming the lens doesn't require much, so piggy backing might be ok? Any help would be great, thanks in advance
  4. Big day today. The new sony vpl-vw590es!! Can't wait to see what this looks like with my anamorphic lens
  5. Ok! My screen arrived, I picked up mt diffusers for the back wall, thanks to Enzo at home theatre engineering. I re painted my ceilling for the 5th or 6th time. Though this time I asked my mate who is a qualified painter what i am doing wrong, as I couldn't get a flat finish without huge amounts of roller marks. I went out to a dulux shop and bought the Oldfield's roller pictured below. The difference is night and day! If you intend to use dulux home theatre black. Buy these rollers ( these cant be bought at bunnings), I would have saved myself a lot of time and money...I tried to
  6. Its coming along! Repainted the walls and ceiling, going to let that cure a bit more, then sand the primer from the door and paint that black. Carpets got ordered today, and will be installed on the 9th
  7. I'm getting over this living room set up. 2.1 like I'm in the stone age
  8. Ok, its been a while. Now we have smart downlights installed (lifx) The speaker holes for atmos have been cut out. I decided to go with the krix amtospherix a20 and s20 speakers, as the MK inceillings are too expensive and also don't have a tilted speaker like the a20 I have a chippy coming in tomorrow to frame up the walkway and install a solid core door. My screen and projector are finally being ordered after a year on lay-by ( damn covid) All my custom speaker cables are made, they are in a prototype stage at the moment. But I will be looking
  9. Further information:http://www.denon.com:443/product/avr4520ci amazing sounding amp, has never skipped a beat. But its time for me to enter the world of atmos. 10. I also did a rattle test this morning, before going any further. Cranked up one of those dumb bass test videos on YouTube at reference levels. No rattling what so ever. Light fixtures in other rooms were shaking tho haha
  11. Its been a long time, but I finally got back in there.. Since last time we have had the wall bricked up and double glaze windows installed. I have installed frames along the front wall and filled with insulation for a baffle wall. The front bench is now glued, bolted down, patched up, sanded, and ready for paint.
  12. Getting the 70 or 90? 😃😃 I'm going to get the 1140
  13. We had the bricky out today and got our window bricked up and ready for 3 smaller double glased windows. Which will then sit behind acoustic panels
  14. I'm going with a woven screen, so my speakers could be as close as possible. But I've gone with a 100mm clearance behind the screen, just to make sure I don't get any muffling. I've been told I could have gone as close as 40mm... but what's 60mm between friends haha
  15. Buying it mate, I figured i was doing enough haha. I did consider making it..
