I recently (and maybe mistakenly) traded my Luxman L550AXii,

Thanks  @Philharmonic,  Luxman L550 AX ll. Luxman are very conservative in their specs, but it drives the speaker like a 200w beast with a grunt(Bcos of the high current)...

It really made me to think to buy hi-end speakers.

Will keep an eye for PMC /Spendor thanks

  3. Hi Guys,

Good day, I am looking for some speaker recommendation. I know this question is asked thousand times in SNA - Please excuse me.

I am after some hi-end speakers (used), considering my modest 20W class A - 8 ohms Luxman- can you guys recommend me with some good speakers which should be good for Luxman class A.

    Standmount/Floorstand speakers with small footprint.

My room size is 5m*4m. No room treatment done.

I listen music in mostly in moderate volume - Never been above 11 0'clk position in volume knob, but love deep Bass  - listen to Blues, Jazz, Country & Rock.

My current setup is : Auralic Streamer > Curious USB > Gieseler DAC > Aurealis IC's > Luxman L550 AXll > Aurealis Litz Speaker cables >  MA Silver 8 Loudspeakers.

    Thank you

  4. Hello ATC Fans,

Quick question on the ATC speakers and their amp requirements. I have Luxman L550 AX ll - Class A SS Integrated amplifier.

I have been told that the Luxman 550 is not good fit

ATC needs high damping factor and high watts rather than high current good class A watts?

    Thank you
