Hi My home theatre/HiFi room is around 4.5m X 3.6m and I would like to add some bass traps and diffusers to improve the sound experice. I would like to get some advice on whether only bass traps are needed to avoid boomy bass or do I need to use diffusers as well? What exactly are diffusers intented for? Also a wide variety of products with a very drastic price variation are available in the market. Hence confused which one to buy? Any guidence is highly appreciated

Hi Awesome peeps Looking to buy a portabe Head Fi setup. I would first like to buy an IEM and slowly upgrade my DAP. The current DAP I'm using is a FiiO X5 pro (quite old). I can also leverage my iphone 13 pro. Kindly auggest a decent IEM around the 1.5K to 2K mark. This is my current desktop set up, Matrix Element i2 and Audeze LCD-XC and I'm loving it. Thanks

Hi POV. I'm using HiFi gear/speakers from Greg Osborn. I'm using the X5 pro by Consonance. https://www.osbornloudspeakers.com.au/x5-and-x5-pro This works well with Roon. I'm thinking if I can leverage this DAC Update - As per the manual..X5 pro can work as a transport. As a transport for streaming music files, the X5 pro MK II only outputs digital audio via USB , no S/PDIF with AES/EBU , meaning you can take an external DAC . All makes and models equipped with a USB input can support the digital output of the X5 pro MK II , whether the external DAC is a standalone DAC or a DAC built into a modern CD player. with a USB input or a DAC built into a new generation of integrated amplifiers with USB inputsAs you can see, the X5 pro MK II offers a very wide range of flexibility. What's cool is the ability to support future upgrades in the DAC sector .

Thanks heaps for the suggestions. One question I have, If I use the streamer I have I need to connect the Analogue out to the pre-amp section of the headphone amplifier or the amp section of the headphone amplifier is that correct. In that case the DAC which is part of the headphone amp is useless. Is that correct understanding?

Hi fellow audiphiles Could anyone please suggest a streamer with headphone amplifier as well? One of the SNA @POV suggested Matrix Audio Element i2 I'm looking for more such devices. This is for my roon library to be plalyed eliminating noise via Head FI Altrenatively I already have a streamer which is roon ready. Im wondering if I can leverage it and just get a hadphone amplifier. Any idea about this product here https://addictedtoaudio.com.au/products/schiit-audio-ragnarok-headphone-and-speaker-amplifier

Hi audiophiles Looking to buy a desktop set up for music listening via headphones, as speaker option is not viable due to 2 year old. I have a max budget of 4K to 5K. Music collection in roon. Have been reading a lot on Burson conductor and Audeze headphones. But kindly suggest better options. I can audition at addictedtoaudio Thanks in advance SS

Born in India and settled in Australia. Have tons of North Indian and South Indian film music. Country had produced a shitload of poor quality recordings in 80's and 90's. Cant even compare the quality with same age Western music. Tweaking the tones does produce a better listening experience on them, Schiit Loki will be delivered tomorrow... Yeahhh...... -

Issue with W5700 Benq projector
SangeethSamrat replied to SangeethSamrat's topic in Televisions, Projectors & Screens
This is really SHOCKING. The noise in brightness is so annoying. I never noticed this in any of my 3 trials at the HiFi shops. I wonder why? Is there any setting to turn this OFF? And if this creates noise in brightness why would BENQ put this in place? What are we achieveing? Jeez...
