  1. Hi Samuel, It looks like they come with a 24 mth warranty. Is it still under this? Did you run Tidal though it?
  2. Enjoying the continuing tour of your kitchen appliances. Is that a Sunbeam sandwich toaster? It's always good to chow-down on a toasty while listening to Nicholas Lens and Nick Cave.
  3. I like to listen to good music in my kitchen too......
  4. I don't suppose you have the bluetooth dongle? How do you connect it to Tidal?
  5. Just a suggestion, but you might get more interest if you give it it's full title- CXA80.
  6. Thanks for the replies. Very interested to look at the impedance graph for the 804s. I really didn't expect the low of 2.4 ohms. (Nom. 4 ohms) ( https://hometheaterreview.com/bowers-wilkins-804-d3-floorstanding-speakers-reviewed/ ) I imagine that the 804s won't suck as much current as my 800 D2s- but it looks like they are actually less efficient so that may not be the case!
  7. I think that it's further complicated by the ability for some amps to deliver high "peak" current for short bursts- usually via banks of capacitors. I think that the figures quoted above usually refer to constant watts delivered into a impedance of 8 and 4 ohms.
  8. Not sure if this is the correct location to post this question. There are a few reviews around, but I haven't seen any with reference to the big Bowers and Wilkins. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm specifically interested in it's low impedance capabilities.
  9. I had to do a double-take. This is not the new M33 .....LOL
  10. Did I miss something above? Why did it originally have a US plug? Was it originally a 110V unit?
  11. Hi Dymonds, Didn't your 803s come with a selection of feet? My 800s did.
  12. The extra feet interest me..... B&W spent a lot of time and money developing the in-built isolation plinths and damping.
