  1. Further information: Overally very nice condition for a classic vintage cartridge that has smooth, refined, structured and engaging 3D soundstage. Used to match with an Auditorium A23 SUT and Leben Phono. Reason for sellling: switch to digital as I am getting more and more busy. Can deliver around from Glen Iris or posted at agreed cost. Photos: PLEASE READ If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved
  2. welcome ! I am a new member too, not exactly new, I but don't post new topics or comment often.
  3. hmm, maybe now it is just the name. anyway, it s not so expensive so I will give it a try.
  4. I am waiting for my Swing to arrive as well. Yeah, I think it's not wise and logistically convenient to have their own manufacturing here. At least, the brain and soul behind it is here. I am quite excited to see how it is.
  5. I tried both cartridges on this 840f tonearm, they sound pretty much very similar but the 103 has the problem with the resonance as I said above, it s very easy to have that "resonating hum" when you turn the volume a bit loud, with the 301 I dont have that problem. Maybe 301 is better matched with lower mass arm like the 840.
  6. hi, is there any one having a 6CJ3 tube ?
  7. I once had Grace 840f and I have warn you that although the 103r sounds beautifully, while mounting with this arm, it is very sensitive with resonance and may results in "hum" sound. I think 103 is better match with more mass arm than this. 840 is medium but kind of medium light one.
  8. here it is. Isn't that quite strange with their distribution channel. They are claimed to be from Melbourne but rarely had I found much infors about them.
  9. I have seen questions asking about Australian made DACs, some options are pointed out but I am curious why Burson Swing Dac didn't appear in the discussions. Isnt it local and affordable and yet popular ? I have one of the Swing, Vivid option and I think it s quite a good DAC for the price (under 500$). Is their marketing not good ?
  10. ns1000 is quite any easy speakers to drive, any push pull 35-40w valve will do
  11. I think Denon Dl 103 is a nice one reasonable price.
