This Latest Generation Combines High-End Materials, Handcrafted Precision And Innovative Technology Tractrix Horn Loaded Titanium Diaphragm Compression Driver, Dual 10" Cerametallic Woofers Take your music & home theatre experience higher with the Klipsch Reference RF-7 III floor-standing speaker. It's the flagship speaker of the Reference line, and it uses patented Klipsch technology to deliver rich, dynamic sound with sparkling highs and thrilling, full-bodied bass. Overview: This floor-standing model is the flagship of Klipsch's Reference Series and although not cheap delivers a lot of high-performance sound for the price and it does this by using Klipsch's advanced technologies and world-class materials. Each speaker box employs dual 250mm (10") woofers and a 44mm (1.75") titanium diaphragm compression driver loaded with a square Tractrix Horn, inside a bass reflex enclosure. As the flagship model they will bring out the power, detail and emotion from your music, movies, or video games. Klipsch makes its cones out of specially treated aluminium that's strong yet lightweight to dampen and prevent distortion. With the Reference Series, Klipsch also gave these woofers a newly developed titanium voice coil former that allows more linear movement for enhanced efficiency, lower distortion and extended low frequency response. Look around the back, and you'll see dual rear-firing ports to help eliminate turbulence noise. They can handle up to 250 Watts RMS and 1000 Watts of peak power so will work really well in large rooms. The question is whether your amplifier has the "horsepower" to keep up! 90°x90°Hybrid Tractrix Horns: A Tractrix Horn utilises a circular horn throat paired to a square horn mouth to further improve high-frequency response and extension, while enhancing imaging and dynamics. With their Series III speakers, Klipsch has redesigned the shape and slope of their famous horn enclosure, so your movie soundtracks and music will sound more "open," with improved dynamics and efficiency. The Tractrix Horn delivers a 90-degree wide by 90-degree high dispersion pattern for a broader sound-stage. The compressed moulded rubber construction adds high frequency damping to reduce harshness and improve detail. This creates the cleanest, most natural sound possible. Titanium Diaphragm Compression Driver: Behind the Tractrix Horn lies a new 44mm (1.75") titanium driver with a linear travel suspension for open, natural, sound. The Linear Travel Suspension minimises distortion for enhanced, detailed performance. It now features a new phase plug design to improve phase coherency at the throat of the horn, resulting in improved sound pressure linearity at high frequencies. Cerametallic Woofers: The dual 250mm (10") woofers of the RF-7 III floor-standing loudspeaker features Klipsch's distinctive, copper-coloured Cerametallic material. Made with an anodised aluminium, this cone is strong and dent resistant. The anodising process converts its inner and outer surfaces to ceramic. The outcome is a rigid cone with superb damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the woofer's operating range The woofers also employ a rubber surround for added durability. Crossover Network: The Klipsch RF-7 III's crossover network is constructed using extremely high-quality components including top-of-the-line internal wiring, polyester film-type capacitors and an air-core inductor to ensure signal purity and proper driver integration. The speaker's enhanced crossover frequency offer smoother on-axis and off-axis integration. Bass Reflex MDF Enclosure: The Klipsch RF-7 III employs a bass reflex enclosure with dual rear-firing ports for greater efficiency and bigger bass response. Utilising Tractrix geometry, the all new Reference III bass port allows for the most efficient, fastest air transfer from the cabinet for a clean, powerful low frequency response. The ported enclosure features a MDF cabinet finished with a premium wood-grain polymer veneer and a polymer front baffle. The speaker's rigid cabinet offers improved internal cross-bracing to minimise panel vibrations that can colour sound. Binding Post Terminals: The speaker offers dual binding post terminals which are connected by jumpers. Using the dual binding posts, you can bi-amp or bi-wire these speakers. The binding post terminals will accept banana plugs, spade-connectors and bare wire. Our Take Klipsch speakers deliver a dynamic and fast sound, which is nothing less than impressive on music and movies. The first thing you'll notice is the size difference compared to the other models in the series. The 7's are big and beautiful whether you choose the Black Ash or Cherry finishes. But the sound is what it is all about. The bass is rich and deep, the mids clear and precise and the highs are beautiful and accurate at any sound level. Bi-amped they "rock" even more. Add a good sub from either Klipsch or SVS and you should have more than enough foundation shaking bass to "tick off the neighbours" on the next block! If not then buy more subs because there is no next model up the line! But there is another big story to tell and that is the subject of sensitivity or speaker efficiency. Most speakers are about 90dB efficiency and in stereo mode and with a modest approach to the volume control does not present any problem for any good amplifier or home theatre receiver. However as surround sound has increased from 5 speakers up to 9 or even 11, so has the demand on the amplifier or home theatre receiver. Combine more speakers with more volume and average efficiency speakers (say 90dB) and your amplifier will run quite hot and go into clipping - a type of distortion. One solution is to add an extra power amplifier to hook up the front two or three speakers. Another solution is to invest in a pair of speakers like the Klipsch RF-7 III. These speakers are a jaw dropping 100dB, which means two things. First, the founder PWK would be happy and (2) you can easily run them with half (or less than) the power of most other speakers. One of the better spec receivers will do the job beautifully and run nice and 'cool' even at high output levels. Speak with us to get more details or phone in and arrange a demo. 9. Item: Fyne Audio F502 Floorstanding Speakers (Black Oak) Location: Sydney 2171 Price: $2700 + Shipping Item Condition: As New (Boxed up & ready to go.) *Reason for selling: less than 100hrs Only 3 months old & Barely used not matching to equipments) Payment Method: Free Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only ( Paypal + 3% on the price) Extra Info: Unique Dual Concentric 2½ Way Floorstanding Design For Larger Rooms Designed & Engineered In Scotland, Curved Cabinet Construction, Real Wood Veneers 360 Degree Tractrix Bass Port, IsoFlare, Multi-Fibre Drivers Rich, Detailed, Spacious Sound With Huge Dynamic Range & Visceral Bass The Fyne Audio F502 is a unique larger floorstanding design from a young Scottish company with a rich heritage in loudspeakers. With many years of experience gained working in key positions at Tannoy, the design and engineering team at Fyne Audio have incorporated a newly refined dual concentric IsoFlare driver design into their F502 series speakers and the results are compelling. Overview: The F502 floor standing loudspeaker delivers the series’ signature clarity and articulation along with visceral bass. The system will suit larger listening environments but can reveal a huge dynamic range even when played at low volumes in smaller rooms. Isotropic energy radiation, with point source constant directivity, is provided by a 200mm (8″) proprietary IsoFlare™ driver for outstanding stereo imaging, even off axis. A matched 200mm (8″) bass driver is also fitted to the 64-litre cabinet ensuring a breath-taking musical or home theatre experience. Ideal for medium to large-sized rooms, the F502 is fitted with a specifically matched plinth incorporating Fyne Audio’s BassTrax™ Tractrix diffuser system, designed to disperse bass energy uniformly into the room. The luxuriously finished, contemporary styled cabinet is available in a choice of dark oak or black oak real wood veneer and piano gloss black or white. Enhancing its aesthetic appeal, it has a gently curved front and rear baffle, which additionally benefits the acoustic performance by reducing colouration effects. A nice touch from the design team are the integrated grill magnets on both the front and rear baffles, you’ll never lose your grills again, simply place them on the back of the speaker when you are not using them, brilliant. Technically Speaking: The F502 series is crafted around an IsoFlare™ point source drive unit; technology which Fyne Audio’s Technical Director, Dr. Paul Mills, is renowned for. Fyne’s technical team, responsible for the audio performance and mechanical build of this type of driver, have many decades of experience between them. Combining Fyne Audio’s IsoFlare™ driver into a rigid cabinet, with a cleverly designed porting system, ensures optimal in-room performance. To fully optimise the driver’s performance, every aspect of the meticulous design has been considered. A vented rear chamber in the Neodymium HF magnet places low frequency resonance well below the crossover region. The unique geometry of the high frequency unit’s waveguide provides a flat frequency response and avoids internal reflections. Eliminating unwanted vibrations, which would be detrimental to the sound quality, both the point source driver and the supplementary low frequency driver fitted to the floor standing models, are built around a rigid cast aluminium chassis. Multi-fibre paper cones are used providing natural sounding midrange and clean transient behaviour. Cone energy is then very effectively terminated using Fyne’s FyneFlute™ rubber surround. The porting system comprises of an internal, downwards-firing port. Below the port, a Tractrix profile diffuser (patent pending) converts the plain wave port energy into a spherical 360-degree wave front, integrating this energy uniformly into the room. This innovative design ensures that the loudspeaker is less critical of room positioning, giving you the ultimate flexibility in your room. The F500 range is as impressive in your theatre as it is in your music room. Fyne Audio’s point source driver technology is ideal for articulating the finest of movie detail with pin-point accuracy. High efficiency and high-power handling mean the F500 series delivers an incredibly dynamic and lifelike performance whether you are listening to all the latest surround formats or simply you favourite TV show. Floor standing models in the F502 series use a rigid MDF plinth with large floor coupling spikes giving stability to ensure well-controlled bass performance and further enhancing stereo imaging. Additionally, the spikes can be adjusted from above the plinth allowing easier levelling of the speaker. The cabinets are crafted using real wood veneers and are available in choice of Dark Oak, Black Oak, Piano Gloss Black and Piano Gloss White.
