  1. I have a lot of live audio gear like Microphones, studio speakers, subwoofers etc. I wouldn't mind some compatibility.
  2. Hi All, I am looking for an AVR with the usual features, and also XLR balanced inputs; and a bonus if it has XLR outputs too. Any pointers? Cheers, David
  3. I am a little bit confused from a little background research asI am interested in this AVR The specs on the US site for this amp is different. Is the Oz version more powerful? https://www.marantz.com/en-us/product/av-receivers/sr7015 Premium-performance 9-channel amplifier: Delivering a masterful 125W per channel (8 ohms, 20Hz-20kHz, THD: 0.05%, 2 ch. driven) so you experience your entertainment in remarkable detail. 4. Hi Chew, I can't say whether the RP-600M's, Q350s, 606 S2, 607 S2 are the absolute best speakers in the price range. I think they are amongst the best and I think you'll be satisfied with the them. The B & W 600 series speakers has been updated to the Anniversary Editions, and as far as I know, you cannot get the older models anymore unless the dealers have old stock to clear. But why would you get the old superseded models anyway? When it comes to power - how much depends on your mileage. From my personal experience, there is no such things as too much
  5. Yeah the RP-600M was his 2018 Speaker of the year winner so it is a high quality speaker. I don't currrently own any Bowers & Wilkins, KEF or Klipsch speakers. However I am in the same boat as you, I am looking for a good pair of bookshelf speakers (downsizing from floorstanding). Initially I narrowed my choice down to the Klipsch RP-600M, then I auditioned it against the KEF LS50 Meta; and I like the KEF more. It felt fuller. I think the tweeter on the KEF and B&W sounds better than the horn on the Klipsch - sort of softer and warmer on the ears. Then I
  6. Have a look at the amazing Bowers & Wilkins 606 S2 Anniversary Edition, or it's younger brother the 607 S2 Anniversary Edition. Steve Guttenberg awarded the Bowers & Wilkins 607 S2 Anniversary Edition and KEF LS50 Meta his Audiophiliac Speakers of the Year 2020! in a tie out of the following: The 607 as he puts it is an audiophile speaker and is less than 50% of the cost of thee KEF. 7. [FOUND] 27/01/2021 Item: Floorstanding Speakers Price Range: $1k - $2k Item Condition: New or Used Looking for a pair of speakers that focuses on mids and highs (i.e don't need something with a 8" woofer in it) I already have a pair of 12" SVS Subwoofers for LF so I'm chasing some good mids and highs. Something like the Bowers & Wilkins CM 8 or similar range would do it for me. My space is a little limited so the speakers need to be around 20cm in width. Located in Melbourne, would consider interstate offer
  8. Item: Centre Speaker Price Range: around $200, give & take Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: Prefer black, and in Victoria for pick-up. Willing to pay for postage if you have what I want. I don't need a high end speaker, but will consider all proposals. Please don't forget to report your post as FOUND when possible. (You can now delete this text).
  9. Hi Everyone, I've been a car audio enthusiast for many years; I was a JL Audio guy. However I've have outgrown it with the years and maturity. Now I have an OK HT system. I have low usage requirement atm, I am after some OK bass for the occassional movie and Euro & Electro dance tracks that I listen to. I already have one SVS SB-1000 Sub, and is acquiring a second SB-1000 off another member on this forum.
