  1. If anyone is also looking for these type of adapter. You can contact Bill from Bill's cables.
  2. Item: Spring clip adapter Price Range: Negotiable Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: Looking for adapters to use banana plug connection on spring clip speaker terminals.
  3. Item: Witch Hat Audio Phantom speaker cable Price Range: Negotiable Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: I'm currently using Witch Hat N2 speaker cable, looking for upgrade.
  4. Not sure about the effect on the resale value. ADI-2 normally sold for around 1750 here in classified. Well I can't say much about the reliability, you should properly search it up on Google. One of the risk you need to consider is buying from oversea without local warranty. Is it worth saving a few hundred bucks? I personally found it often offers good value when buying certain audio equipment from overseas given that the mark up local price here in Australia.
  5. £698 + £80 shipping + GST = £778 (around 1350AUD + GST) https://studiocare.com/products/rme-adi-2-dac?variant=31531489034286 If you don't mind buying from UK, this is the cheapest one I have seen . Includes 2 year warranty but have to ship it back to UK for warranty claims. Always buy directly from the seller if you can, the price on eBay is often more expensive due to extra eBay fees.
  6. That is exactly the reason why I want to pair the NAP 100 with another Naim. My current setup with Aune x1s dac is having the gain problem, the line out is not variable and its too loud. I cannot get past 10 on volume in windows. Currently, I cannot find any dac v-1 for sale in Australia that is within my budget so my only option is to buy from oversea or buy the RME. This is going to be a hard decision to make between two DACs.
  7. Buying directly from their store website is cheaper than the one on reverb. I have sent an email to Studio care to ask them if the dac will include any warranty. They said it will come with 2 year warranty but you have to send it back for warranty claims.
  8. Marantz HD CD1? It's not timber but it has some wood side panels. Specification: https://www.marantz.com/en-gb/shop/sacdcdplayer/hdcd1 https://www.audiotrends.com.au/marantz-hd-cd1-silver-gold.html?utm_source=google_shopping&m=simple&gclid=CjwKCAiAz4b_BRBbEiwA5XlVVuJwuTiljAIykwHLL2eJxR43Kg94sC5DHVemu_O_BW8TMg1ZkugLtRoCx6MQAvD_BwE
  9. Thanks for the reminder. That's actually a very good point that I forgot about. Not having local warranty is one of the things that put me off from buying overseas as I don't want to send it all the way back to have warranty issues sorted. The Naim OLED display is known to have some issues. It might actually be much better to buy locally to have the warranty included. Currently, I'm more leaning towards the RME due to the extra features it offers. The Naim Dac- v1 is not bad but it's getting a bit old now in terms of the technology.
  10. Store DJ is selling it for $2189 so it's over $800 difference. https://www.storedj.com.au/rme-adi2-dac-fs-ultra-fidelity-pcm-dsd-768khz-da-converter?gclid=CjwKCAiArIH_BRB2EiwALfbH1KNVKIkMOUwrNwYlqDlzdC7SkMtyV6n5UwMjRS4oPavN1LE0aFC5gxoCWMQQAvD_BwE
  11. Is this a scam? If it's not a scam it will be the cheapest one I have seen. [UK] Brand new RME ADI-2 DAC FS selling for $1300 + $130 shipping On Reverb https://reverb.com/au/item/31970240-rme-adi-2-dac-fs-extreme-power-headphone-amplifier-reference-class-usb-dac On seller's website £698.00 ex. vat https://studiocare.com/products/rme-adi-2-dac?variant=31531489034286
  12. Bump. If anyone have one message me immediately, I am about to pull the trigger on a RME ADI-2 DA FS.
  13. Thanks for the reminder. I will rephrase the topic, it is a little bit misleading. What I meant was I was looking for an all in one dac that has the function of headphone amp and variable line output. This is my home office setup so my only source is Tidal using USB connection. I would love to have 3 separate components but unfortunately I don't have enough space on my desk. The Schiit Lyt is a nice dac but it has a tube on top of it so there is not a lot of space left for the NAP 100. Besides, the NAP 100 is a lot longer than the Schiit Lyr so I'm not sure if I can fit the NAP 10
  14. CMA400 looks like a solid built dac, the specs are good too but it is too wide. Due to limited space on my desk, I'm trying to find a dac that can stack up on top of the NAP 100.
