It can stream over wifi

Further Information: If you are here, chances are you know very well what this is - and for absolutely good reasons. This has been the staple and backbone of my audio setup and in many ways a reassuring piece whereby everything else around it can get changed but I would always feel secured knowing that I will be able to rely on re-measuring and have room correction applied, made easy via Dirac Live. Of all the equipment upgrades and purchases I’ve made, this has got to be the single most outstanding, noticable and effective one. Additionally, it is also a very adept preamplifier with streaming capabilities via the built in Volumio app. An excellent video review can be had here by Hans Beekhuyzen: https://youtu.be/zr_oqF9jb-8 I just cannot fault this unit - it sounds great, has excellent build quality and the feature set ticks a lot of boxes. Why sell then? Upgradetitis (we’ve ALL been there), and with a very heavy heart indeed - I am taking a shot at something that requires additional funding and, honestly, will not even promise a positive change but it is something I have to explore lest I regret and then tell the tale (to my own self no doubt as the missus couldn’t care less lol). The unit is in pristine condition, always used in a curtained dedicated audio room, in a house with no pets and no kids (love them, just don’t have them), and no smokers. It also comes with the UMIK measurement microphone, all original accessories and packaging. Pickup is preferred but shipping can definitely be arranged at an agreed cost. Cheers.

Further Information: I just bought this off an awesome SNA’er and he bought it from Australian distributor Dacman Audio in July 22. The reviews online say it all - an awesome DAC at this price point with performance that is very hard to better unless you spend substantially more coin. Regretfully selling to fund my audio setup in a different direction. If I had a choice I’d keep it but tough times these days. [SOLD ELSEWHERE] I have a feeling I will regret this but as we all know, there is always an itch we have to scratch in this hobby/passion of ours so up for sale is my much loved McIntosh D100 Digital Preamp and DAC. It has always been a faithful performer and the reviews online speak volumes. I use it as a DAC mainly but even the preamp section is faultless and comes in handy more than one would realise. If I have to describe the sound, it would be lush, controlled, smooth and natural whilst being detailed at the same time. More reasons to love the D100: 1. It’s a McIntosh 2. When its iconic front panel lights up, it’s game on 3. It’s a full width unit and built like a tank, typical McIntosh quality 4. It constantly nudges you to go ‘just one more song…’ because you WILL enjoy the music - the reproduction is amazing 5. Rinse and repeat. Did I already say it’s a McIntosh? Local sale preferred but if required, I can courier with its inner box which is very sturdy. Also advertised elsewhere. Cheers.

Item: Long and low hifi/av rack/unit/cabinet (Brisbane) Price Range: $200-300 but prefer to trade with my Norstone Esse Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: The missus has decided that my Norstone Esse does not cut it in our new place as she wants a soundbar and bluray player added to the rack in our media room (I shall not complain seeing as she approves of my stereo gears) therefore am looking for a long and low hifi/av rack - at least 1m long with 2 or 3 (preferred) levels. Don’t need anything fancy as long as it is sturdy/solid to serve hifi duties ie fitting in and withstanding typical sized amps at least on the bottom most level. My norstone is in good condition with a few scuffs due to age (from previous owner) and interstate moving but nothing that affects function whatsoever (no paint chips or dings).
