  1. Eric has changed my driver tube to 6DN7/6EW7 and been testing 6EW7 today and a little disappointed with its soundstage. Bass extension and treble detail, still was very good. Overall tonality or separation has not been affected much but soundstage width suffered .... in my opinion... Aesthetically it looks good with the socket converter but might have to give this one a miss, as genre I listen is 99% classical music... Will now test 6DN7 for a day two and report back.
  2. Looks like other posters are playing through LP/CD... I am using Qobuz or Tidal or FLAC file that i ripped from CD

  10. Further information: Used but in great working condition Dewalt Hammer Drill (DCD785-XE) with Charger, 2 x 1.5 ah Battery in carrying case. (It is not brushless) Have never missed a bit. Bought new from Sydney tools 4 years ago to use at home. Needed impact drill driver and it made sense to get drill and impact drill as a set and hence this is no longer required. One battery doesn't hold as much charge but the other hold charge very well and last me weeks or month as I do not really use drill that much. Pick up only Tha

Now using RCA 6L6 and this tube has transformed the amp!!! Great bass extension without losing detail on treble... SET OTL or Push-pull... don't really understand but amp has amazing sound without any noise!!!11 Ps. Loving your GZ34 in my amp... this definitely made difference in clarity of the amp compared to Eric's usual rectifier!!! Money well spent...
