I have just had the strangest thing happen. I have a Zenith mk3 that I control using Sense. No Roon. The amp was on, but noone was playing any music. In fact, no music has been played today at all. I'm the only one that has the Sense app in the house. Whilst preparing dinner tonight, suddenly out of nowhere a song starts to play. It stopped after about 10 seconds or so. My phone was in another room. When I checked the Sense app, it showed the last so as a blank, time played as 00:00/00:00, and quality as "OGG VORBIS (SPOTIFY)". I am totally perplexed!

Speakers???

Ok...here's something I recently discovered. I seem to recall that I read something about the perception of sound. I can't recall where I read about this, but the inference was the 'image' can be enhanced if we perceive a target that the sound emanates from. I recently bought a cheap dimmable display spotlight, pointing it towards the centre of the soundstage, in a darkened room. For me, somehow this enhances the soundstage. Not necessarily depth, but the general sounstage. For me was worth the $20 outlay

I just checked my account. I was on Hifi Plus. Yes it does now say 'Individual + DJ Extension'. However the price is $12.99, which is the same as the Individual plan. Am I missing something?

These are very good. When I placed mine into the system, it provided improved bass and overall calming of the sound. And I was skeptic. GLWS.

You do need to be careful grounding speakers if the amp is fully balanced, don't you. My amp is fully balanced and the manual warns to not attach the negative speaker terminals to ground, as it is not earth potential.

I've known of the existence of this club for a little while now. For one reason or another, I never got to a meeting. Anyway, today the stars must have aligned and I did get there. Met some nice and interesting people, heard a very good sounding system, and listened to a range of music. What's not to like. Thanks to those that made me feel welcome. I reckon I'll be back. This is a very good amp. I have the i5 version, now in storage after a significant upgrade. This is a refined, natural sounding amp that I enjoyed for over 20 years. GLWS

I was just doing some browsing and came across this old thread I started. @JukKluk2 I wondered what you thought having had the Vitus upgraded. I've read that the upgrade is more significant than that from RI 100 to R 1101.

I had a similar issue. NBN point on opposite side of the house to my sound system. And streamer that only accepts usb. I have a wifi mesh system with one unit near the streamer. Use a good quality ethernet cable into stream. Works consistently and sounds great.

Nice. Don't see these on SNA often. BTW- my room can access streaming via wifi only too. I set up a mesh wifi system, with one unit near the streamer. Then connected unit to streamer via ethernet. Works a treat. Sounds great.
