  1. I agree they dont do a thing. They are essentially for decoration at this point. The floor ones cover all the cables nicely I dont really have a problem with bass in my listening position luckily so its OK for now. Its the highs that give me most of the trouble in my 'harsh' room.
  2. The setup just got a few upgrades! Ill report in on how it sounds once ive had some time to really have a critical listen. The Wilsons are AMAZING! Now I just need to decide which of the systems Ill keep. The next few weeks will be a Schiit Vs Levinson show down!
  3. Ill agree with you on that. I ended up purchasing the system and speakers and have it set up. Now im just having fun switching things in and out with my existing Schiit Audio system to see what sounds best. Its like new school vs old school. The Wilsons were the biggest improvement. They are amazing!
  4. I thought I would share my current system. I haven't seen any full Schiit Audio component systems around anywhere. After a lot of playing around im finally happy with the room acoustic treatment. This is my first 'Audiophile' set up so I really have nothing to compare it to. Always searching for improvements. Currently looking for a pair of Wilson Watt Puppy's. Components are as follows: Schitt Freya Pre-Amp Schiit Gungnir Multibit DAC Schiit Mani phono stage 2 x Vidar Amps run as balanced mono's AVID Ingenium turntable Sonos Connect (via optical) Isotek Aquarius power conditioner System Audio Mantra 50 floor standing Speakers (Hopefully soon to be upgraded to a pair of Wilson Audio WP7's Speaker cables and Interconnects are Roberton Audio Cables from here in Oz Power cables are all homemade with Furatech Cable and Krell / Viborg terminals. Custom homemade Rack (24mm Birch Film Ply + Allthread)
  5. I was only interested in the Watt Puppies but from all the interest these Mark Levinson components must be pretty good! The seller wants to sell everything as a whole. If I end up getting the lot Ill keep everyone updated.
  6. Components are as follows according to the seller: Digital processor is 360S CD Transport is 37 Pre Amp 380 Power 431
  7. Thanks @georgehifi I think I have figured out the models. Now just to figure out what they are worth! Thanks.
  8. Can anyone help me identify the Mark Levinson components in this setup. Am I close in guessing: 431 Power Amplifier 38 Pre Amp 36 DAC 39 CD player Im just trying to figure out what they might be worth. I really just want it for the WP7's Thanks
  9. Very Interested. Pm Sent (well, sending right after this
  10. Thanks @audiofeline. Im am certainly very cautious with listening levels. Ill admit in my younger year I spent probably too much time exposed to loud music. Luckily, as far as I know, I have no hearing issues as a result. I guess in my post I was referring to a real-life grand piano sound more so than a rock concert Thanks again.
  11. Hi Everyone. Stereo.net was recommended to me by a friend. WOW what a gold mine this place is! Ive been into audio for years but only just now really starting to realise what good HiFi really is. Im currently in my comeback 2.0 of loving music and beginning to push aside all my rock albums as I gravitate to music that does a good system justice. Currently listening to Ludovico Einaudi at near concert level as I type this I think own at least 12 sets of headphones with my favourites being a set of Audeze LCD X's but have recently upgraded my HiFi system to a Schiit DAC, Pre-amp and a pair of VIDAR amps and currently in the market (my reason for joining stereo.net) for a set of Wilson Watt Puppy's to make this system really sing. Cheers SL
