  1. Hi Owen. Mostly black discs, it's probably a 70/30 split vinyl/ CD. Just now it's the Chills, silver bullets on vinyl. I'll start prepping for dinner soon so CDs are more convenient. Maybe Mr Fingers next: good to cook to.
  2. For those of us who like Grandaddy http://smarturl.it/GrandaddyWWW
  3. Looks fantastic. Congrats. What do you think of the sound so far?
  4. This is the Kit, Cath and Phil Tyler, arrived today.
  5. I'd ask Kenny on his Facebook page; I'm sure he'll help you out if he can.
  6. There's definitely some thrashier tracks on this, she's got a way with words though.
  7. This is the road to ruin. Stick to vinyl. Use that gizmo for toasting sandwiches.
  8. Father John Misty. Deluxe edition. Double 45 with pop up gatefold sleeve which plays a tune on opening. Just arrived from UK Bella Union.
  9. Just got back after a couple of weeks overseas and some LPs had been delivered. These are the first to be opened: Maggie Bjorklund, shaken and Adrian Crowley & James Yorkston, heavy is the yoke.
  10. Yes, politics were part of much art in those days in one way or another. I was in the studio while they recorded some of those tracks; my brother played cello.
  11. I get the RG ones and find the music sounds better. Fuller bass, more extended highs and detail. Joking aside they seem absolutely fine to me and physically not so different to the MoFis. How you could test their actual performance is beyond me.
  12. Me too. No need for more unless you happen to have 5 ears I reckon.
  13. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=799060336 Something like this?
  14. As above. The digital out will be fixed so your only option is to get an amp with remote..... or move your ass!
  15. Great selection. That Emitt Rhodes LP can't be easy to find on vinyl; slightly envious.
  16. I can't be bothered disconnecting the battery to get at it.
