  1. Cockburn's "Each One Lost" Canadians in Afghanistan.
  2. High Hopes - Springsteen on Vinyl. Fantastic stuff!
  3. This one? http://www.trademe.co.nz/electronics-photography/home-audio/other/auction-669336686.htm
  4. I know it's exciting/frustrating but can I suggest leaving the "there's lots of watchers" comments out. It can come across as desperate, taunting or an attempt to drive up the bidding. You've got 4 days to go on a high-ticket item, I'd suggest that if there's anyone seriously contemplating this item they'll bid in their own sweet time (and strategy)!
  5. Was it purchased new? Still got a warranty (don't show them this thread!)?
  6. Vocally he reminds me of Lou Reed, which sets up a lovely contrast as stylistically, musically & lyrically he's nuffin' like Lou!
  7. Although one could make a case for an ESL personage asking about File Formats for music and Ethernet connections. Which, bad/unclear English aside, may have well put him in the running for this beastie. I see from the Oppo link that it appears to do DLNA and doesn't do FLAC. Although the DLNA link mentions streaming FLAC so I'd be unsure too.
  8. Two sites of interest, the 2nd I've found useful at times: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague http://www.badcaps.net/

  10. I'm seeing them pop up on ebay and elsewhere for around the $450 - $500NZD?
  11. http://www.wowhd.co.nz/ can be good too. Free Shipping on everything. I got addicted to amazon.co.uk when they had their Free Shipping to NZ gig going.
  12. And now I'm stalking the apiarist! http://www.trademe.co.nz/electronics-photography/home-audio/speakers-and-stands/floor-speakers/auction-616204130.htm

That's not what I'd call average!

My understanding is that he paid homage . Especially in the likes of LN 97th Nightmare, which all its Stagger Lee influences asides, starts then stops with the singer getting the giggles and restarts like Dylan's 115th dream! Intriguing to read somewhere of Lars Ulrich being influenced by LN!
