Further Information: Just to clarify the SU6 is a step up giving an extra 20db to the MM6 40db: 60db total. The SU6 is used in conjunction with the MM6 for all but the lowest output MC carts. The MM6 which has been mildly superceded is used on its own for all but lowest output MM or high output MC carts. The SU6 MC Box is adjustable for loading (47ohm, 100ohm, 220ohm and 470ohm) currently set at 100ohm which suits most modern MC's. If you have older mm's such as Shure or Stanton I will happily guide you thru setting up varied capacitance by way of an adaptor. This is a cult/ boutique Phono with a very organic signature: if you defineately prefer vinyl to digital then it is up your street. Gives a very live feel to recordings. Currently retails from the manufacturer for $US 580 with the included mono switch upgrade plus postage so about a grand $AU to Australia if you can talk Robert Moran into sending it. Gain for the Silver upgrade is 44db so it works well with HOMC carts as well. It has been in charge of a Shure v15 111 with aplomb for a while and does a magical job with mono blues/ jazz stuff. Tried successfully with a variety of carts and music genres mono & stereo. Excellent condition, post covered.

Further Information: This is Audio Technica's TOTL OC9 with Boron Cantilever and Special Line Contact Stylus in near new condition. Considerably less than 100hrs from new. Trouble is it is too pure for my tastes and at my advanced age the pristine highs are wasted. I suggest it requires a pretty good table (p6 or equivalent) and a lightish arm. If your in the market for one of these you'll know how good it is and that this is a huge saving. Post covered.

Further Information: Creek OBH-8 mm phono preamp with upgrade OBH-2 regulated LPS. This combined setup retailed for over USD300 in the year 2000: you do the maths. I'm not pretending it competes with my much more expensive pre's but I will say its a great deal at this price. Completely adequate for the likes of AT vm95en or Ortofon 2m blue; doesn't quite cover my Goldring 2300 or Dynavector homc DUH! Warm non fatiguing signature, midrange nuance exceptional at this level. In very good condition, post covered.
