  1. Can you post a photo of the electrical information which will be on the back of the chassis. This should provide information about the grounding in use.
  2. Hardwood ply is probably the best bet in that case. Exterior or marine grade ply are probable the best options, depending on your budget.
  3. My thoughts too. I purchased one in the early 80’s.
  4. I believe the Arcam is close to 100 W/ch. That should be sufficient to drive those speakers, unless of course there is a problem with the amp or the speakers. Has it always “struggled”?
  5. Hi all. I have been tinkering with audio since the early 80’s. Enjoy DIY and have so far completed a Holton power amp and also some MLTL speakers using a Martin J King design. I also have an interest in older speakers and am current.y enjoying a pair of IMF TLS 80 Mk 2. Looking forward to learning and contributing where I can. cheers Mike
