Texture was fine, silky and organic. Extension was clean, clear and extended. This added more realness to female vocals. I like it very much. It can take a while to appreciate it and to get the best out of it. There are a lot of different settings available and while some, such as the up to 6 filters available for each audio stream resolution are quite subtle, others such as mapping, each sound quite different. If you are used to some lesser DACs which can sound bright and shiny up front, Bartok can at first sound reserved, but its detail and naturalness keeps you listening. No listener fatigue here. It appreciates good cables. Golden Sound claimed it was too smooth. See above.

Further information: This is an opportunity to obtain an as new Auralic Aries G2.1 Streaming Transporter at a healthy discount. It was purchased in January 2022 to replace an Auralic Aries Femto, and totally confirmed my view that the quality of the Streamer matters a lot in a digital audio playback system. This is one of those devices that shows how you can not know what you are missing till you hear it. After being able to upgrade to a top-line streaming DAC which recently came available, my G2.1 is now surplus to requirements. It is an outstanding device and after being able to compare both back and forth, can confirm it is a major upgrade from the Auralic Aries G2. The current retail price for this unit is $8,495.00 It will be shipped in its original box including the aerials (not shown).

Further information: This is a very powerful commercial quality NAS running the latest QNAP software and represents excellent value. Can take either spinning disks or SSD It was puchased about 5 -6 years ago as a file server for a business where it was used for about a year. I've since used it at home for file backup and as a Roon Server. Included are 3 3TB Western Gigital Red Hard Drives configured to RAID 5. The replacement model is selling for $1,900 without any hard drives included.

Further information: I've had this very well regarded DAC since 2018 and have appreciated its musicality, engagement and excellent sound. This is still the flagship "OG" model from Schiit with RRP of AUD$4,200 and holds its own against much more expensive DACs. It was upgraded with the Analog 2 board by Addicted to Audio in 2019 and the Unison USB board was installed in 2021. See photos. There are some very faint rub marks on the case and one scratch on the right rear which you can see in the photos. I covered the notoriously bright LEDs with opaque stickers. These easily peel off but I've left them in case they are still needed. Will be shipped in original box

Current retail $1,460. These cables are just over 6 months old (Dec 2021) but are now surplus. These are one set of two pairs that have been used in a bi-wire configuration. If you have a need or can do so, cannot recommend highly enough the benefit of using speaker cables as opposd to jumpers. 2nd set also advertised.
