  1. Thanks for your message mate. Only the one. That’s how I bought it. I understand there usually are two. Regards, Hooman
  2. Item: FS: Michell engineering TecnoArm Location: Perth Price: $750 Item Condition: excellent Reason for selling: bought Linn Sondek and changed to Ittok arm. Payment: upon negotiation Extra Info: The Tecno Arm “A” is a fundamental mechanical rebuild of the well-known RB250 tonearm, to which is added monolithic wiring of the highest quality. The arm tube is bead-blasted and perforated, which disperses structural resonances and yields a lower effective mass. The arm wand is internally damped to reduce resonance further, and the headshell is machined flat, to allow true azimuth relative to the bearing cradle. After modification the bearings are re-adjusted for highest possible performance, according to original Rega procedures. The arm is packed professionally and can be shipped. I include the Ortofon Cartridge. Pictures:

    Hello from Perth

Great! Now I’ve got to find another $100K?
  5. Hi everyone. My name is Hooman, I live in Perth. When I was in my late teens I was introduced to a Linn Sondek by our neighbor. He was a bit eccentric but boy his music sounded great. I learned about strange amplifiers like Naim and how they could make these tiny speakers called Kanns sound much better than our stereo at home. But, oh my god! Why so expensive? Well, I’m in my 50s and am still in love with that sound. I’ve started collecting bits and pieces and have got my system set up just like I saw it in the 80s and 90s. Linn Sondek with lingo and Ittok/Troika, Naim 102NAPSC/185 running series 1 Linn Kanns in mint condition. What more could you want? But apparently things have moved on and hence why I’m here. I’ve learned so much since joining in October. I have a feeling I’m only starting where I left off when I was 18. Thanks in advance and regards from sunny Perth, Hooman
