  1. Hey, This might seem off topic but stick with me... I recently swapped from a Linn integrated to a Naim. I thought I would experiment with some DIN cables - the 'preferred' interconnect for Naim amps . I ordered a 2nd hand Chord Crimson RCA to DIN cable on eBay (won the auction that no-one else bid on) and then waited for the cable to come from UK. Lo and behold to my surprise when it arrived it was 4 RCA plugs to one 5-pin DIN. I understand that would be great for a tape in and out but less useful for my DAC 😊 I know it would work i
  2. Further information: Really well made cables with a great sound. I was impressed with bass and high end detail. Q2’s inner Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductor is surrounded by an outer spiral of 11 strands of LGC. The result is AQ’s new flexible Solid+ Concentric Conductor, with sound quality even closer to that of an ideal solid conductor and yet big enough to make a great cable with only two conductors. The two conductors (+ and -) are spiraled for minimum inductance (inductance makes sound seem out of focus), and maximum clarity and dynamics. This ideal cable is then
  3. Further information: For whatever reason I have become quite attached to this pair. They replaced Chord Clearways and they really unlocked my system at the time. I love the sound but I think there is something zen about the minimalist design that triggers something in my brain. I have moved to a Naim with DINs so reluctantly letting them go. The highly acclaimed PBJ interconnect exhibits simple, elegant construction incorporating proven tri-braid field geometry, VariStrand™, Hyper-pure copper conductors and extruded fluorocarbon dielectric. PBJ has become a classic with
  4. Further information: A hifi classic this integrated is a beauty. The totally silent circuit design means music is depicted against a completely black background. Don't let the small case fool you the power is impressive - I've played with a series of speakers and sources and enjoyed all. Reviews are consistently good; Hifi classic.net Sound stage network TNT audio The unit is in excellent condition. I have included lots of photos to show the condition rare to see these days. Includes the kudos tuner card, remote and manual

  6. Further information: This is an opportunity to get a rare Harmon Kardon receiver built after Sydney Harman re-acquired the receiver division but prior to the sale to Samsung. This is an immaculate example carefully kept in smoke free home. Full working condition and price includes remote, manual and the original sales catalogue (with 1994 price!!). Sound is that classic Harman sound, makes any source a beautiful listen including a turntable. Most recently used with a Chromecast this was a great listen. Beautiful warm sound cut to the Harmon curve. The industrial design of this u
  7. 8. Further information: Selling my W4S Recovery USB re-clocker which I purchased here last September. I have the original packaging, power pack and all original accessories (short USB A to B tether and the 1” USB A to B jumper) This is a very well-reviewed unit with plenty of information available on the web. I found it made an audible difference during complex sections of music.
  9. Hats off to the amazing work on this topic! I feel humbled by my junior wood work🤪 I have been experimenting with some anti-vibration plinths for my gear. I have the server on a nice Tas oak platform with some spikes (plus our favourite Bunnings anti-vibration pads) but I thought I'd share the latest prototype for my DAC. Three pieces of Tas oak on rubber footers with the top platform floating on concealed roller bearing anti-vibe 'pods'. I hope to re-make it with some precision but happy with the way this turned out. I might get a 40mm Forstner bit so I can go to two
