  2. Hi. I have a Finite Elemente rack for sale. I will list it shortly. It is 4 shelf. Cheers. Jim.
  3. Cheapest way out of this is to buy good headphones and an headphone amp.
  4. You need to develop some unsavory habits. For instance listening to music in the nude. Maybe some loud out of tune singing along with the music. Additionally purchase some chanting music and healing crystals. She hopefully will get the message that the man cave is there to protect her as much as give you man time.
  5. Upgrading from B&W 802 D3 to Wilson Alexia 1. Chalk and cheese difference.
  6. Hi Pope, It is a risk, but in my opinion not a big one. I bought the 205 when I read they were getting out of the market. It is a magnificent box with a great power supply. I still have an Oppo 93 works very well never had a problem.
  7. Thanks Wen, I’ve invested already so I think I’ll leave the past in the past. I think there’s a psychology behind the first audio experience that can never be matched. Cheers.
  8. Hi Everyone I've just joined up. I've loved music since I was a young child, I can remember sitting by the really old fashioned radio in the kitchen listening and loving music circa 1967. Our local doctor had a magnificent stereo, which I heard when I was about 12 or 13. First impressions were WOW. It was a Garrard turntable, Trio (rebadged Kenwood 2000) integrated amp with 13 watts per channel and KEF speakers, they were pretty big. It sounded really fantastic - powerful, warm, dynamic. I have been chasing that sound all my life and still haven't found it. I saw a very funny cartoon recently which sort of says it all (attached) not that I would be like that of course. Anyway I looking forward to participating on this site and the sharing of ideas. All the best Jim
