Hi There, Fellow Naim CB owner here. There’s surprisingly quite a few CB and Olive owners here in Australia. I started with a 110 and 42.5 which I imported from the UK. I now have a 250, Hicap and 32.5 plus also a Nait 1. All of my current setup I sourced in NZ or here in Australia except my 32.5 which came from the UK and a retailer The HiFi Hangar who are on FB and sell via eBay (but well known and trusted). My recommendations are as below: A) Keep an eye on Facebook marketplace B) Join FB groups Naim Audio - The Chrome Bumper Faction and Naim Audio Buy and Sell, Moorgate Acoustics as these groups from time to time will have items for sale. Moorgate is actually a trusted Linn and Naim retailer and they accordingly get items traded into them. cheers, Daniel

Further Information: Hi There, I’ve had each of these for the past 12 months and thoroughly enjoyed them. I’ve previously owned a BluDento and Bluesound Node and found the Zen Stream and Dac combo to be a true level up. Reason for sale is we’ve moved to a Naim Muso due to the little one. Both units accompanied by iPower supplies which I believe are now need to be bought in addition to purchasing these units at retail. Coaxial cable and an Ethernet cable included. All original Linn components. Installed from new in May 2017. Approximately less than 2,000 hours of use. No known issues.

This is awesome and I think a real bargain. I’ve owned a few Duals before moving up to Rega and more recently Linn. If only I had more space! GLWTS.

Further Information: These 42.5 and 110 CB with 322/2 Moving Magnet cards are a great first intro to Naim and increasingly sought after. I purchased these in Oct 2017 and brought them back from London in my hand luggage thinking they’d be the first and last Naim setup that I’d own. I bought them in the first instance for their aesthetic but instead their sound has been so great they’ve motivated me along the upgrade path! 42.5 serial number is 26888 so dated 1986 110 serial number is 14677 and dated 1984. The original owner is coincidentally an engineer at Abbey Road and assured me he’d bought them at the same time. I have a service record from London Sound dated 2005 but would otherwise describe condition and sound as original Naim. Happy to audition in or mail at buyers cost.I’m looking forward to someone else enjoying these as much as I have. Includes original uk kettle cord, blanking plug, original snaic (faulty but probably fixable) and aftermarket snaic. No original boxes or manuals. Cheers,

Further Information: Hi There, I purchased this Ifi Zen Air Dac from MiniDisc in late Oct 2022 while I was figuring out my streaming setup. Although awesome sounding I literally used this for 3 hours and have instead gone with another Ifi product instead. I have the receipt and believe this can still be registered for warranty purposes. This presents an opportunity to save a little and whoever buys won’t be disappointed. I can post but local pick up (or can drop off across Inner West, CBD) is preferred.

Michell Record Clamp Condition is near new. This has had minimal use since purchase. You’ll see it still has the plastic film it arrived with on the clamp itself. Note, this is not the Rega version unless you’re using a Tangospinner, Groovetracer or other aftermarket sub platter. Postage included in the asking price.

Mordaunt Short MS10 Bookshelf Speakers w Banana Plug inputs. I helped a few friends get vintage entry level systems together. These have been surplus and while I wanted a 2nd system the manager is adamant these must go! Great sound and addition for a budget first system or your shed. Unusually these take banana plugs only. Note, the cabinets are a little tatty and I’ve tried to represent these in the photos below.

Chord Clearway (from 2016) terminated with gold banana plugs. This is an uneven pair comprising of a 3m and 1.5m length. I was using with my Naim CB setup and although very happy with the sound traded these up for Chord Odyssey. As they’ve now been in storage for well over a year it’s time to move them on. Happy to mail or for these to be collected.

As CB chrome bumper hicaps are rare it’s not unusual to see them sell for as much as $1000. There is a listing currently on Trade Me NZ for a Naim bundle and there is a Hicap as part of this. Otherwise maybe 1 per year comes up for sale here in Australia. It took me 2 years to find mine!

It’s worth adding that the power supply levels this turntable up similar to a P6. IMO owning a P3 and adding the power TTPSU I noticed an immediate improvement in sound quality never mind the convenience of not needing to adjust the TT belt to change the speed. GLWTS

I’ve been obsessed with getting this book which was last in print in 2019. I’ve just come across Blackwells (who are a reputable UK chain) have 10+ copies in stock and ship to Australia for free. I’ve ordered mine but wanted to share as suspect I’m not the only person that’s want to get their hands on a copy.
