  1. Item: Musical Fidelity V-Llink 192 Location: Sydney Price: $120 Item Condition: 8/10 Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Direct Deposit , COD Only Extra Info: https://www.musicalfidelity.com/support/discontinued-products/vSeries/v-link192 The V-LINK 192 builds on the success of the original V-LINK and its step-up V-LINK II sibling to offer flawless transfer of musical data from your computer, including support for ultra-high resolution 24bit/192kHz audio files. A standard USB connection from your computer performs inconsistently; you can’t guarantee what data rate you’re going to receive - a poor start for your digital music experience. The V-LINK 192 - a 24bit 192kHz asynchronous USB to S/PDIF converter – offers perfect performance from USB, ensuring a consistently high-quality data feed is provided for your hi-fi system. It has both coaxial and optical outputs, allowing its digital precision to easily partner with DACs and CD players with these standard inputs. That means you’re not just getting better performance, you’re protecting your investment in your existing system. The V-LINK products – along with their V-Series siblings - provide exceptional performance and build quality at an affordable price. 2. Sure, I have all original packaging
  3. Thanks for all the interest. Deal Pending
  4. They are very bulky and without packaging so it would be very difficult to freight. Sorry
  5. Item: Meridian 596 DVD/CD Player Location: Sydney Price: $500 Item Condition: 8/10 Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Direct Deposit, COD Only Extra Info: I mostly used this player as a CD Player and then as a transport. As i don't get that much time to listen, usage is relatively light for an item at this age. The CD mechanism was serviced 5 years ago to replace the belt for the door mechanism. Still sounds like a really nice CD player. These things are built like tanks. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  6. Item: 4 x Mondo Traps, 2 x Mini Traps, 2 x Micro Traps Location: Sydney Price: Mondo Traps $100 each, Mini Traps $80 each, Micro Traps $50 each Item Condition: 8/10 - like new Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Direct Deposit, COD Only Extra Info: Very effective room tuning solution - see http://www.realtraps.com. I'm letting these go because I no longer need them but I have to say they are extremely effective at tuning rooms and getting the best sound out of your system. The Mondo Traps are 2'x4'9"x4" and great for bass tuning. If you have a bass trap in your room, these are the ideal solution to tame that boom or just make our bass tighter and faster. Mini Traps are 2'x4'x3" and good for upper bass, lower midrange tuning. This helps with bass and vocals. Midrange becomes smoother and less harsh. Micro Traps are 2'x4'x1" and great for upper midrange. You can control imaging and reverb in your room. These cost me approximately $400 a piece after freighting them from US. I'm sorry my photos aren't great since they're hard to photograph, but you can see them on the website. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  7. I used to have one these babies together with the matching power amp. Cant recommend them highly enough! Lovely warm valve sound without the size and heat.
  8. Beautiful equipment. I used to have a 557 Amp and loved it!

  10. Hi Larry Is it Chicago? I am sure I can arrange to package and ship to you. I would want cleared payment before I ship though. Regards Felix
  11. Item: DCS Debussy DAC v2.30 & Scarlatti Master Clock v1.00 Location: Sydney, NSW Price: Debussy $6,000; Scarlatti Clock $3,000 Item Condition: Good Condition Reason for selling: upgrading Payment Method: Pickup - Cash or Bank Cheque, COD Only Extra Info: Upgraded to latest firmware which supports DSD/128 and 24/352.8, 24/384. Sounds absolutely awesome! I use it with a mac and audirvana and have found that the choice of software also effects the sound quality. The clock makes a huge difference to the sound, giving it more air, better detail and making the image rock solid. Comes with a brick of a remote control! Pictures:
  12. I've had a lot of NAD equipment - started with a NAD 7020, which was great driving little AR 18s. I also had a 5120 turntable - fantastic for what is was - simple, not expensive and great sound. later on i upgraded to a 7155 receiver - needed more power. They were great amps - plenty of current and headroom with a sweet sound!
  13. Hi I've been playing with audio equipment for over 30 years. it all started with a love of music and an interest in electronics! I love to try different things to change or improve the sound...but ultimately i believe the best sound is subjective and up to the individual. Whilst i love vinyl, i moved away from the black gold 10 years....i'm too lazy but I still think they sound fantastic. Nowadays, I'm a computer/digital person...experimenting with audirvana, jriver, tidal etc. It's strange how you can get a different sound between cd, lossless via different sw, tidal or direct USB connection! Anyway, love this site - well done on a great bunch of stereo nuts who contribute sound information. The classifieds are also very interesting! regards Felix
