  8. Further Information: Advanced version, output current is 800 mA, which is good for all high current USB device interfaces Regeneration of USB power. Power from the computer USB ports are very noisy with a level higher than several mV. Titanis inverts and processes power from the USB source. The regenerated power noise level is only 8 uV, rendering the Noise level reduced by about 1/1000th. Titanis is an active USB processor, and is different from the old USB filters which you may have tried before. The filter is composed of simple LC passive components, the output signal is all dependent on the input. Unlike others, Titanis is an active device, and the output is not affected by the strength of the input. Titanis does not require device driver, however some devices may need to reinstall a device driver after connecting to Titanis. All USB devices can be connect through Titanis, e.g. mouse and keyboard… etc, it can enhance PCHIFI system performance. The two main functions of Titanis. Regeneration of USB power. Power from the computer USB ports are very noisy with a level higher than several mV. Titanis inverts and processes power from the USB source. The regenerated power noise level is only 8 uV, rendering the Noise level reduced by about 1/1000th. Rebuilding the signal from the USB port. In the computer, the signal consists of a large amount of interference and jitter due to the complicated EM environment and power supply conditions. Titanis receives the signal from USB and puts it in a local buffer, with the use of a local high quality clock, regenerates the USB signal and sends it to output.

  23. Without setting off another heated debate.....I think a good way for you to find out is to try using another RCA cable (assuming you have one) in place of your current one, and see if you can hear a difference. If you do hear a difference, then continue to investigate into whether you want a coax cable.
