    FS: ONKYO T-4070 Network Tuner

    Price drop - $400!
  4. Item: Pioneer VSX-AX4ASi 7.1ch AV Receiver Location: VIC 3122 Price: $550 $450 Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, COD Only Extra Info: I am the original owner of this beast of an AV receiver (at over 16kg) which pumps out 7x140W RMS. Has served me well over the years and was most recently used with my ProAcs. Was the flagship of the Pioneer range in it's day and I picked this ahead of of the top-of-the-range Marantz which I compared it to. Among its many features it boasts: - 4 x HDMI inputs (with 1080p upscaling) - Pioneer's version of DSP: Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration (MCACC) EQ - Multi-room/zone capability (with 2 remotes) - Can be run in either 7.1 mode or 5.1 with the front speakers bi-amped - 24bit/192khz DAC - USB audio-in / iPod (1st gen) connectivity Full specs: https://www.superfi.co.uk/p-6497-discontinued-pioneer-vsxax4asi-home-cinema-receiver.aspx Minor issues: - Negative binding post on the centre channel is loose and cannot be fully tightened (see photo). This has not been an issue for me as the gauge of cables generally used is thick enough to securely stay in. - Volume-Up button on the main remote is a little hard - again this wasn't an issue as I mainly used the secondary remote. 5. Item: Jaycar 12" 150W RMS Active Subwoofer (circa '09-'13) Location: VIC 3122 Price: SOLD Item Condition: Cabinet 7/10; Woofer/Amp 9/10 (see photos) Reason for selling: NLR - surplus to needs Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal. Extra Info: I am the original owner of this sub. Fantastic entry-level unit for mainly HT application but can also be very musical if set-up/placed correctly. Cosmetically it has some wear/tear due to the budget veneer finish (see photos) but the driver and the amp are still in top condition. Yet to hear a sub south of $1000 with this much punch and accuracy. Frequency Response rated at: 20-150Hz (and feels like it too!) Dimensions (mm): 350 (w) x 440 (h) x 420(d) Pictures:
  6. Item: ONKYO T-4070 Network Tuner Location: VIC 3122 Price: $400 firm Item Condition: Very good Reason for selling: NLR - surplus to needs. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, COD Only Extra Info: I am the first owner of this and has always been kept in a dust/smoke-free environment. Has not been used for the past 12 months and time has come to move it on. Excellent sound quality mainly attributed to the Wolfson 24bit/192Khz DAC. I used this as a media server to play lossless audio via USB and DLNA and it worked a treat. The Airplay also works seamlessly and the whole unit can be operated via the Onkyo App. Full disclosure - as of the past 2 years, Spotify has stopped supporting Onkyo products and as such the built-in Spotify app does not work on the unit (despite Onkyo still advertising it!). Instead, you can Airplay Spotify/Tidal from your phone/iPad. Cosmetically in great condition with only one small dent on the top panel (pictured). I unfortunately misplaced the DAB antenna during my move interstate but this can be purchased for a relatively low-cost online (<$15). 7. Hi all Been on here for a while but yet to introduce myself. Recently relocated to Melbourne (from Perth) and a lover of all things hifi (especially the British stuff). Fairly new to the hifi game...currently running ProAcs with some Audiolab and Pioneer gear. Looking to beef up the system with some heavier amps and a sweeter turntable (if the wife approves). Cheers Tarun
