  1. Item: ERHARD PHONO PRE-AMP Location:REVESBY Price: $1400 Item Condition:Mint Reason for selling:To help fund new CD player existing one Kaput. Turntable gone which leaves the hand made Elhard Pre-amp to sell. Will only have this for sale for a short time otherwise will go in storage and look at buying a cheaper CD player. I bought this pre-amp last year and has warranty till April 2020.Retails for $1365USD that is before landed in Australia, cost me $2500. Only used a half dozen occasions so hasn't even been broken in.Check Elhard Audio website for customer reviews. This is only for Moving Magnet or high output Moving coil. Note this unit comes with the more expensive Russian 6N23P valves. Note also Dip switches as noted in below description. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Erhard Audio advise any issues with unit till warranty if it cant be fixed by e mail or phone call. They will pay for repairs completed by Tech here in Australia. MM/HiMC Circuit: Janis uses a combintation JFET and tube cascode input circuit with an Aikido-style output buffer. We use the JFET as the first stage of the input section due to the far superior low noise level than with a typical tube. This is by far a superior method especially in a lo- level stage such as a phono preamp. Gain for this version is 45dB. Particular time and attention were given for the RIAA circuit, and we typically use a pair of resistors in series to arrive at the correct values required by the RIAA eq circuit. Our unique cartridge impedance matching circuit consists of a number of low noise, high precision Vishay CMF series resistors, which are then combined in varying degrees via the mini DIP switches to arrive at the correct cartridge impedance used. Power Supply: Much time and care were taken in the design of the power supply as any shortcomings here will show themselves in the resulting tone of this phono preamplifier. To that end, we chose a Lundahal power supply, a regulated B+ high voltage and a regulated DC filament supply, one for each channel. This resulted in an ultra quiet power supply that is extremely stable with NO variations no matter what variations there may be from your household power outlet. Two low noise toroidal transformers, one for B+ and one for filament, housed in a fully shielded aluminum enslosure contribute to the ultra low noise environment. A 120V/240VAC 60/50Hz selector switch on the rear panel allows Janis to be used anywhere in the world. Components: Only high quality components are used in the construction of Janis. Low noise, +/-1% variation Vishay CMF series metal film resistors are used throughout the signal circuit, and high quality Panasonic metal oxide resistors are used in the power supply circuit. WIMA film and Nichicon electrolytic capacitors are used throughout. Coupling capacitors are Mundorf MCap EVO series. Tube sockets are ceramic gold pin units. General specs: Phono preamplifier gain for MM/HiMC - 45dB Phono preamplifier gain for MC - 56dB RIAA response is flat across the audio band, down 0.5dB at 10Hz and 0.1dB at 40KHz Chassis size: 14.5"W x 12"D x 8"H Weight: 9.5lb Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.

  10. Hi no links got a hardcopy from the distributor here in Sydney ,Stax don't like sending this info out ,only to authorised people even then took months.
  11. Hi I have done adjustments as recommended by Stax using a multimeter Adjustment on plate current of V1 and V2 vacuum tubes Check each measurement points of L&R channels by digital voltmeter Turn TVR and adjust voltage to be within +/- 100mv
  12. Hi guys got a Stax007t energiser which I had for years, recenlty replaced the valves with the same factory tubes.I biased the valves using the potentiometers screws next to the valves, does anything else need to be done ?
