I had the same issue -- what I did is watch HTPC in THX mode ( overscan is switched off in this mode) and watch FTA in cinema or any other mode with overscan on. This way you don't have to keep switching overscan on and off.

I have this issue as well. Looked at a couple of V10's @ myers and Jb hifi and they have it too. So i think it's a common issue with V10.

Does anybody know if 24p playback is enabled or disabled in THX mode?

what's IFC and how do I enable it... I spoke to Panasonic, according to them picture noise while changing channels is OK they have it even on the V10 in their offices...

I got my V10 yesterday and I saw the same issue , the noise disappears in few milliseconds but it's definitely there. I also found one more issue - if you watch any HD channnel with your picture overscan set to off.. there is sometime a greenish line on the left side of the TV all along the breath and sometimes on the top ( top one is like a broken line) I will try to post some pics.

I have a samsung series 8 55' LED TV. I won't recommend anybody to buy it I am returning mine after 3 replacements. There are clouding and light bleed issues I faced.. Do your research before you buy.

I am planning to get a LX509, can anyone tell me is there any issue with this TV ? I read somewhere LX509 has some noise problem as well as some judder...

Are u getting the light bleeds on the corners ? with these settings it helps but I can still see light bleeds on all four corners ... time to get it replaced i suppose

PQ is good but not perfect.. Yesterday, I got samsung techie to come and look @ the light bleed, this is the setting he did and PQ has improved dramatically- Mode: Movie Colour Tone: Warm2 Backlight: 3 Contrast: 80 Brightness: 40 Sharpness: 0 Colour: 50 Tint: 50/50 White Balance R-Offset: 27 G-Offset: 28 B-Offset: 25 R-Gain: 38 G-Gain: 24 B-Gain: 21 Colour Space: custom Red: red 35, green 0, blue 0 Green: red 53, green 50, blue 3 Blue: red 0, green 0, blue 50 Yellow: red 55, green 50, blue 8 Cyan: red 50, green 50, blue 50 Magenta: red 40, green 8, blue 55 Edge enhancement / motion plus etc etc...... all switched off

Did u change any other settings?
