Well i did a calibration using the Terminator 2 Bluray THX optimizer today. It looks brilliant after the calibration by the way, not so flat anymore. Here are the settings i got.
Cinema mode
Contrast - (80)
Brightness - (-14)
Colour - (35)
Sharpness - (0)
Tint - (0)
Having the brightness turned down really deepens the blacks and gives a nice boost to the midtones too. Going by the calibration disk i could have turned the contrast all the way to 100 by i left it at 80 to increase panel life and reduce image retention and chances of bad burn-in. Give them a try and let us know what you think.
