Thanks....is another option....since $600.....probably only 1/2 prices to those LCD i mentioned.... and i only use the tv for wii & telly.... i probably wont watch dvd on it...

hmm....what about these.... 1) Pana LCD - L37V10A 2) Sony series W (only W has <40") 3) Sammy LED series 6 (only s6 has <40") any recommendation on the above? or any others? Much appreciated. Thanks

hi guys i m in the market for the a smaller LCD to put in bedroom....mainly for TV & Wii.... i've been out of dates on LCD for a year now....so dont know which model is currently the best... (I've currently got a sony XBR 49" and a 55" sammy series 9 LED LCD) can anyone please advise which model is good atm? or possible any good deal around WA? Much manys....

my dad bought one...the 65"....LC65RX1X....$8k at HN city west store... not impressive at all.....dvd/blu-ray....not as clear compare to sammy & sony.... 65" is sort of like magnifing the screen from a 42" to a 65" without adjusting other settings... for 8k....much more options than that....

yeah, shadyspin... but i giving that one to my old man.....he always wanted one....btw....i m also still waiting for it...since Jan 09 as well.....got an email from sammy yesterday...saying....delay in stock...appologised.....but will definitely get one... so...by the look of things....i should get all my blu-ray by x'mas...

same here....i bought the pana blu-ray home theatre system along with a sammy 9 series....back in Dec 08 from JB i got the sammy 9 in Jan 09....and been watching and sitting there with nothing to connect to except my TV antenna... apparently...the pana system...they initially deliever a wrong lower spec model with the TV..took back....and promise me next week will have it at my door... 2+ months gone...they say still waiting for pana shipment....

that's why i always give myself 0.5m room to play around... i ordered twice from fox already...all been smooth & fast...top job!!!

i put my in & paid in early Dec....and just got the 55" sammy 9 a couple of wks ago (in WA, so stock take time)....yet to set up and unbox....but looks awesome...thanks sleep....

Ocean Habour? the one below Marco Polo hotel? u will ripped big time if buy there.... like <tonyig> said...TST is designed for tourist....and black listed tourist shop arounds... try head up to Mongkok....cheaper price there....try some big electronic chain...their price is reasonable and trustworthy.. or else...a place called...Sham Shui Po (by taxi or MTR..depends on where u staying)...there are a couple of old shopping complex there (1 called golden)..they sell bargain cheap electrical and computer stuff... (btw...i think u can score either model here in HN and JB for under $500 aud easily)

yes....7,8&9 all due 2nd week of Nov...approx....didnt ask for price tho...since they all so new in Perth...i doubt can get far off from the RRP...

just asked the sales at Myer in Perth...due in mid November....(series 9) and I guess would be same for everywhere in perth....as HN & JB not on display yet...

my old man is in the mkt for a large LCD...50"+...and give me the task to get one for him... and just noted there is a new Sony XBR45 (i got the 46" XBR myself) released and a Samsung Series 9 55".... just wonder which one would be better? any good pricing around (WA)? I got mine approx 5 wks....but 2 of the titles changed, and a note saying "due to high demand, they have to swap with other titles, hope you enjoy Blu-Ray Experience" But problem is 3 of the 5.....i need to update the firmware to watch them...

Just received the 5 free titles BR movie offer.....(and at least 3 of them are not what I ordered...but they said out of stock...so have to replace with other titles)....and one of them "The Wild" cannot play on my Sony BDP500.... when I load the disc....the player just have "Cannot Play Disc" on the display....and cant read/load the disc at all... does anyone have similar issue? and what should I do now? send back to exchange? or just pass onto my green wheelie bin for the garbbo to try it out? i just got the B&W MT30....must say it sounds awesome...i did audition the focal sib/cub set as well before i purchase....but i must say B&W M1 sounds a bit better...especially the PV1 sub (if u think I m not bias)...for $3k...i m sure you can get the MT30 for sure....i got mine with 2 set of stands (i.e. 4 stands)...$3,200.... i m hooking up that with denon avr 3808....+ 2 old tannoy bookshelf (M2)...to make it 7.1.... unbelieveable when i watch spiderman 3 on blu-ray...

i got my 3808 from west coast.....$2700....cheapest i've been shop around.... the $1,750 price....i didnt haggle at all...as i ask the guy at JB...he gave me that price straight away...then i told him this is the 1st shop quoted (which is true)...then he said...have a look around...come back with other prices....they will beat it for sure.... so I think i should be able to get down to $1500..... but i just dont know why WA/Perth has to pay higher premuim (prices) than other states....

i got a denon avr 3808 for my own... looking for a 705 or 805 for my dad.....got quoted from JB in perth today....705 for $1,750... i m sure elsewhere can do better than that.... does anyone know any shop in perth can do better (i.e. $1,500) for the 705? thanks a lot.

bought the sony s500 last week...now sitting on the crouch...not yet hooked up...doing it tomo... dont think it will do a uncompress stream to my denon avr to decode hd-ma...but i think True HD & DTS HD will have no problem..... got that for $800...along with my 46" bravia lcd...(all up $5000)...no ext warranty tho...only 1 yr std....not sure to get ext warranty or not...(very $$$ to get through from sony) will write a bit of feedback this wkend...after all set up & running...
