Just picked up the 42" PX600A, nice Panasonic stand, along with the $400 cashback Panasonic offer, DMREX75 DVD recorder and the home cinema SCHT60. All due to be delivered this week. Connecting all 3 boxes together with 2 HMDMI leads, and am routing the aerial signal from the wall to the DVD, then back out to the TV.
The sound from the TV should route to the home cinema via the HDMI, and from the DVD to the home cinema via HDMI. Is it worth running an optical lead from the DVD to the home cinema? Also want to hook up my xbox 360 to the home cinema, does anyone know if the HT60 has 2 optical ins, if I use one for the DVD?
Or have I missed something and is there a better way to hook these all together?
Also will hook my laptop up via DVI to HDMI, but think I am stuck outputting sound from the laptop to the home cinema with the RCA leads??
Thanks
