  1. Thanks Sean. I'm not sure I like the idea of cutting into my ceiling or drilling into the concrete above. Having said that, would it be possible to fix some sort of batten to the aluminium studs and say span it across two studs so that the load is shared. Could the projector then be mounted without the ceiling falling down on my head?
  2. Hey guys, I need some help regarding mounting my projector. I've got a TW2000 and live in a fairly new apartment. Apparently the ceilings have these Rondo suspended ceiling systems ie. metal brackets. I think like this: http://www.infolink.com.au/c/Rondo/Rondo-w...-systems-p16812 What's the best way to ceiling mount the projector? And what would be a good projector mount that can fit the Epson's wide mounting holes? Thanks in advance.
  3. DSE Powerhouse has the 32R81BD for $1298 and the S81BD for $1288. Well, at least the DSE Powerhouse in Auburn (NSW).
  4. Yeah, I bought one of these for my brother, and it seems to work pretty well...no ghosting, and optical output pretty good. $22 shipped all up from Sydney. I have a monster cable version which my sister got for me from the USA last year. She lives there and could not find a single shop which had the original Hi-def pack. Mind you, the monster cable one is pretty good and only cost US$35 ...5m cord too.
  5. Don't everyone rush all at once : Retravision in Auburn Home Mega Mall (Sydney, Parramatta Road) is having a renovation sale. Just picked up a 5000PVRT (silver, 120GB) for $398 They have left: 4400PVRT (silver) $298 (about 4-5 left) 5000PVRT (silver only, 120GB) $398 (2 left, including the display one) 5000PVRMP (silver only, 160GB) $498 (2-3 left including display one) Best prices I've seen so far.
  6. Hey Prices, you can reach me at doomsie28@gmail.com
  7. Hey Prices...can't seem to PM (maybe not enough posts) but I would be interested in the Solid speaker STANDS only. I have 2 fronts and 2 rears from years ago but no stands I'm in Sydney though..... PM me please if this interests you.
  8. Don't know if this is new....but on the Panasonic website the RRP for the 42PV60A is now sitting at $3799. I'm pretty sure it was $3999. I just paid a deposit on a a PV60A ($3150 with 5yr warranty + $40 delivery) but haven't had it delivered yet (waiting for the keys to my new apartment). Anyone think I can still bargain them down another $200 given the price fall?
  9. Hi, I'm moving into a new apartment in a couple of months, and as with all new apartments it's cabled for Foxtel/telstra. Does anyone know if I can subscribe to Optus digital TV using that foxtel connection seeing as it uses the same hardware, and broadcasts the same channels? The reason I'm asking is that the optus digital tv subscription is discounted if you have an optus phone, which is what I intend getting.
