I have updated and am now selling my old HT setup. This sytem sounded great and worked a treat together. I am keeping my Krix Brix (old rears) for 2ch listening. Krix speakers are Jarrah in colour. All items well looked after with original boxes. Not used much over last 2-3 years since moving to QLD. Pick up is available from Sunny Coast or Brisbane. I can send photos (if required). I think I understand, thanks. Another question then. Do the same distances apply for SD viewing on a 1080p set. I have heard you should sit further away than you would for a true 1080p source. Regards Sunboy

Is Owen actually saying if you are more than the above distances from the respective screen size full hd is not worth it as you can't benefit from the extra resolution.

Just got a new panasonic BD player. HN tell me to get proper certifed 1080P I need to spend $200 on Monster Cable. Cheaper cable will still provide digital signal but not at speed high enough to get 1080p ??? Is this true, what do others recommend. Also is it worthwhile to get a surge protector. I am to spend a sensible amount for adequate protection. Again what do others recommend. Regards Sunboy

I think you will find it has been superseded by the 4 Series which can be had for $759 RRP $899.

As stated above the 26 has a contrast ratio of 5,000:1 as opposed to the 32 which has 10,000:1. Does this make a difference in reality. Thanks

The 32 I am considering is the LA32A450. Main differences over the 26 other than size are 10,000 contrast ratio and wall mounting option. Thanks
