Located in East Brighton.I purchased this projector screen approximately 12-18 months ago and it has never been used. Still with its plastic.
Size is 230cm from hook to hook on each end and 220cm diagonally on screen or 92" inches.
It is a 16:9 orientation.
Condition of fabric and metal chassis is perfect. Easiy wall mounted.
Avoid cheaper quality products, they are cheap for a reason.
From the website:
The Grandview Classic Pull Down Screen is the ever reliable, and economical option. This screen remains a perennial favourite in our range.
It has fixed mounting points at either end, folded steel casing finished in white powdercoat and doesn’t have the slow release feature of the Deluxe Pull Down. It does however feature top quality Plana R screen material, and is priced right.
Available in popular sizes: 84” & 100” 4:3 and 92” 16:9. Perfect for home, school or business when the budget is tight.
Features:
This is the value option in the Grandview pull down range.
Fixed mounting points at either end of the screen casing.
Screen can be either wall mounted or hung from the ceiling.
Lightweight construction.
Screen mechanism – pull down and retractable with locking mechanisms
at various intervals.
Projection surface is Plana R.
Casing is folded steel, finished in white. -

Bought into some hype on ozbargain recently and grabbed the LOTR trilogy blu ray from amazon for $30 odd delivered...
Put it into the ps3 and its telling me wrong region! DOH!
Is there such a thing as a region free player? Or am I best flogging it on ebay in the USA or something?
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Just Klapp in Dandenong have it, checked it out on Sunday. Not bad, was most impressed by its ability when there was lots of ambient light. Not sure where you are or if the other Klapp stores have them on display.
Ah cheers

I'm looking to import the Mitsubishi HC3800 from the US via PriceUSA and was just wondering if someone who has done so (ewok etc) could verify if I need to buy a power converter or anything else I need to keep in mind (since it's coming from the US)?
I apologise if this has been stated somewhere in a thread (I did search), but apart from that I wanted some feedback from people who have ordered this way before.
Cheers guys!
id try for buying a unit that is dual voltage if possible,,,

cant believe it took 3 pages of thread to work out it was a mistake and would never ever be honored!

I have one of the original 60gig Australian console PS3 (ie backwards compatible).
I remember these where fetching ridiculous prices on eBay but what are they worth nowadays?
Basically, I want to upgrade to one of the new slim consoles. The space in my cabinet is only just big enough for the current PS3 so it tends to get hot (ie loud fan) and I believe the new slim will be cooler and quieter. Also, I like the idea of bitstreaming the audio to my amp (Yamaha 3800).
Ideally, I want to sell the current for enough to buy a new one, without having to fork out any extra. If I can get a little more, then bonus.
It has had little use over the years. I only play Gran Tourismo and watch the occasional bluray. My kids game on it but prefer the xbox, so not much use there.
Wadda ya think?
Steve
follow up on ebay but the last few ive seen were sort of 400-600. Do watch a few auctions though and see what they go for.

I recently upgraded to a Optiwerx screen. bought it on ebay out of curiousity.
I expected it to be cr@p but turns out quite the opposite.
Was pleasantly surprised with the unit and the motorised mechanism works well.
I used to have a herma pulldown screen but it developed to many ripples.
This new one is ripple free atm.
Also happy that there is no light leakage at the rear of the screen
rang adelaide today but no more at that price, she chick wasnt even aware they had them at that price.
Melbourne South Yarra had a display model which they wanted $2999 for....no thanks.
-
I cant believe how badly we in Australia get ripped off.
If this is street price $1000 in the USA there is no reason for it to be $1200 here!
-
thx for the bumps
I'm looking for a sealed melb unit willing to pay 400. Thanks
-
i reckon $400 is a good deal, good luck getting one from COTD lol
You get a letter from Sony on the Bravia ones which acts as a warranty.
-
So how does the PS3 Slim stack up as a blu-ray and dvd player. Sorry if this has been asked before.
bloody well if not the best. Add a hdd ability for use as a pvr media centre and games unit and hell!!!
One catch is no multi region.

Its been a while since ive d/l any good demo's - can anyone advise any that are worth having? can be us.japa.au stores because I have all accounts setup....
cheers for replies

Sorry can't help on the receipt martino.
I've had a problem with both DS3s I have. They will often lock up during games and I'd have to wait for the battery to power down before they could be used again. Never had a problem with the controllers that shipped with the launch PS3 phat nor any 360 or Wii controllers.
But these darn DS3s have given me regular grief. They were bought at different times from two different suppliers so I can't blame it on a bad batch.
worst case grab a new one and take back the faulty one. Just go to church that Sunday!
-
still want a melb one if someone has ...
-
I'd consider for $350-$375.
HN were advertising them for $438 last weekend - no game, just the console
all offers accepted
-
Ill be selling mine for the same price once Sony deliver it, pickup from Brunswick.
do need it sealed (its a present) but consider it sold
pm me when you receive it and if i havent got one, ill grab yours.
-
$400 for post would be a little steep.
It shouldn't cost more than $20.
$420 posted should suffice.
completely understand, keep me in mind if you get no takers, as I said, I think its more than a fair price. I might otherwise hang out for a Melb edition.
