  1. Located in East Brighton.
I purchased this projector screen approximately 12-18 months ago and it has never been used. Still with its plastic.

Size is 230cm from hook to hook on each end and 220cm diagonally on screen or 92" inches.

    It is a 16:9 orientation.

Condition of fabric and metal chassis is perfect. Easiy wall mounted.

Avoid cheaper quality products, they are cheap for a reason.

    From the website:

The Grandview Classic Pull Down Screen is the ever reliable, and economical option. This screen remains a perennial favourite in our range.

It has fixed mounting points at either end, folded steel casing finished in white powdercoat and doesn’t have the slow release feature of the Deluxe Pull Down. It does however feature top quality Plana R screen material, and is priced right.

Available in popular sizes: 84” & 100” 4:3 and 92” 16:9. Perfect for home, school or business when the budget is tight.

    Features:

This is the value option in the Grandview pull down range.

Fixed mounting points at either end of the screen casing.

Screen can be either wall mounted or hung from the ceiling.

    Lightweight construction.

Screen mechanism – pull down and retractable with locking mechanisms

    at various intervals.

    Projection surface is Plana R.

Casing is folded steel, finished in white.
  2. I'm looking to import the Mitsubishi HC3800 from the US via PriceUSA and was just wondering if someone who has done so (ewok etc) could verify if I need to buy a power converter or anything else I need to keep in mind (since it's coming from the US)?

I apologise if this has been stated somewhere in a thread (I did search), but apart from that I wanted some feedback from people who have ordered this way before.

    Cheers guys!

id try for buying a unit that is dual voltage if possible,,,

  3. I have one of the original 60gig Australian console PS3 (ie backwards compatible).

I remember these where fetching ridiculous prices on eBay but what are they worth nowadays?

Basically, I want to upgrade to one of the new slim consoles. The space in my cabinet is only just big enough for the current PS3 so it tends to get hot (ie loud fan) and I believe the new slim will be cooler and quieter. Also, I like the idea of bitstreaming the audio to my amp (Yamaha 3800).

Ideally, I want to sell the current for enough to buy a new one, without having to fork out any extra. If I can get a little more, then bonus.

It has had little use over the years. I only play Gran Tourismo and watch the occasional bluray. My kids game on it but prefer the xbox, so not much use there.

    Wadda ya think?

follow up on ebay but the last few ive seen were sort of 400-600. Do watch a few auctions though and see what they go for.

  4. I recently upgraded to a Optiwerx screen. bought it on ebay out of curiousity.

I expected it to be cr@p but turns out quite the opposite.

Was pleasantly surprised with the unit and the motorised mechanism works well.

I used to have a herma pulldown screen but it developed to many ripples.

This new one is ripple free atm.

Also happy that there is no light leakage at the rear of the screen

rang adelaide today but no more at that price, she chick wasnt even aware they had them at that price.

Melbourne South Yarra had a display model which they wanted $2999 for....no thanks.

  5. Sorry can't help on the receipt martino.

I've had a problem with both DS3s I have. They will often lock up during games and I'd have to wait for the battery to power down before they could be used again. Never had a problem with the controllers that shipped with the launch PS3 phat nor any 360 or Wii controllers.

But these darn DS3s have given me regular grief. They were bought at different times from two different suppliers so I can't blame it on a bad batch.

worst case grab a new one and take back the faulty one. Just go to church that Sunday!
