  1. Thanks ChilledStrings, I think so as well. Thanks for the interest guys. The cable just went to its new home as part of a serious set-up.
  2. Item: MHDT Labs Paradisea DAC Location: Adelaide, SA Price: $300 Item Condition: Very good Reason for selling: No longer in use Payment Method: Bank Transfer, Cash, Paypal, COD Extra Info: TDA 1545A NOS filterless DAC. This is the first Paradisea, preferred by some (before MHDT switched to a torroidal power transformer). NOS GE-JAN 5670 buffer tube. SPDIF inputs - RCA and Toslink. (Note: This is not the Paridisea + which has a USB input.) Used with the Lifatek optical cable that I have for sale, and a Topping D-10 USB to SPDIF converter. Had this for a couple of years now, held on to it as a backup, but just bought 2 new DAC's, and this will have to make way. Works perfectly. Has the dimensionality of R2R Dacs, and is a good introduction to the NOS sound. 3. Item: Lifatek Premium Silflex Glass Toslink Cable Location: Adelaide, SA Price: $70 + shipping Item Condition: Mint Reason for selling: No longer in use Payment Method: Bank Transfer, Paypal, COD Extra Info: Used between server and DAC. Electrically isolates the DAC from the server. If you use Toslink, this is the cable to get. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  4. Item: Pinkfaun I2S Bridge - LVDS Location: Adelaide, SA Price: $325 + shipping Item Condition: Mint Reason for selling: Upgrading to a Pinkfaun bridge with a TTL buffer Payment Method: Bank transfer, Paypal, COD Extra Info: PinkFaun I2S bridge. Currently in use. Bought a DAC that has TTL input, so buying a new bridge with a TTL buffer. Bridge is in perfect condition. Would like to avoid the time and money involved in shipping it back to the mfg to have the buffer fitted. For those not in the know, the bridge is used in a windows machine to give an I2S output to a compatible DAC. A search on google will bring up tons of additional info. 5. @Jayden jablonski are those 4343’s in the background ?
  6. Buy with confidence. I bought the Orion’s that Fluid had for sale. The system was delivered yesterday. Impeccably packed in 4 boxes. Inspite of the courier companies best efforts - one of the speakers was delivered upside down in spite of clear labels - everything was in perfect condition. Fluid knows how to pack his speakers securely. The build quality of the speakers / electronics is phenomenal, and was a steal at the asking price. If you’re considering this system, you cant go wrong. super value at half the asking price of other LX521’s that have been on sale. GLWTS
  7. Hi to all the good people in Sydney.. I’m in Sydney till this Thursday 14.2, is there anyone who uses a Denafrips Dac (preferably a Terminator, but any model would do) who would be willing to let me have a listen ? I’ll supply the beers cheers David
  8. Item: Deulund 16GA tinned copper speaker wire - 3.3 metre unterminated speaker cables Location: Adelaide Price: $150 + shipping Item Condition: Mint Reason for selling: Upgrading to a full loom of Allnic ZL-3000 Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Bank Tranfser Extra Info: Bought in december 2016 from Frederik (Deuland). Cables are about 3.3m long. Natural sounding, good tone, separation and an extended frequency response. These cables are generally used with low power amps and high efficiency speakers, however I used them with a 400w amp and 3 way speakers with good results. Has the potential to be a reference level cable in the right system, and at the price is a no-brainer. I have marked each cable clearly to indicate the direction and polarity that it was used in. There is a lot of info online about these cables. I have included some links below: https://positive-feedback.com/audio-discourse/duelund-coherent-audio-dca16ga-premium-tinned-copper-vintage-tone-cable/ https://theaudiobeatnik.com/my-first-experience-using-duelund-dca16ga-for-speaker-wire-and-belden-8402-for-interconnects/ No issues with shipping as it will fit comfortably in an Auspost satchel. 9. Item: Blue Circle RPD-15 DC Offset blocker. Custom built with 4 US outlets, and hardwired power cord with AU plug Location: Adelaide Price: $400 + postage Item Condition: Mint Reason for selling: Upgrade to a Vibex Granada Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Bank Transfer Only Extra Info: Bought new from BlueCircle in Oct '17. Custom built with 4 US outlets, and hardwired with 14AWG power cord with AU plug. Disclaimer: Power conditioning can be controversial, my thoughts below are based on my experience in my system, YMMV. I've lived with most forms of power conditioning - the Shunyata Hydra, isolation transformers, balanced power - and actually preferred direct into the wall. Until i tried DC blocking. I was curious after reading Srajan's review on the Vibex Granada, but did not want to commit to a Euro 2000 unit without proof of concept. The RPD-15 seemed like the best of the inexpensive breed out there. The unit was a custom order with 4 outlets so I could plug the entire system into the unit. Gilbert from Blue Circle recommended a fixed power cord, and also suggested making the attached cord as short as possible, so went with his recommendations. The power plug was changed to a non-branded one with red copper prongs, which was an improvement over the earlier nickel plated plug. The RPD 15 - in my system - resulted in a blacker background, with more micro detail, and without any loss in dynamics, a definite improvement over direct into the wall and without the drawbacks. I don't have the original packing, but will pack the unit securely with bubble wrap and a box if required to post. Will include 3 power cords with US plugs, if required. The power cords are from Odyssey Audio, good entry level stuff. Local buyers are welcome to a demo.
