  1. Thanks @GregWormald. I definitely will be eventually. Looks fairly straight forward as well. It will go for a full refurb at some point, so I will get it done then.
  2. It’s been my endgame pre for a number of years. Just couldn’t find the right one at a decent price. The one I found is spectacular. Cannot wait
  3. I spotted that also. It will be going to my tech at some point, so I will definitely get it done then. Thanks mate!
  4. Haha all good! Massive help mate, thank you
  5. Thanks @xlr8or! I will definitely be getting the isolated version.
  6. Thanks @muon*. The power requirements in the specs indicate it only draws 9 watts, which is consistent with what I have read on the Internet. Makes sense, it’s a preamp. With all that in mind, it would seem I just require the Tortech, and 100W isolated version would be more that enough? Am I correct here @xlr8or @mbz?
  7. Thanks everyone! Much appreciated. @muon* @xlr8or I had come across that Tortech website but couldn’t find the amp/watt draw anywhere. I’ve located the service manual and it indicates 50-60Hz, so the Tortech is all I need?
  8. Hi everyone, After a number of years of searching, hoping, I have finally hit pay-dirt and scored my unicorn preamp; a Marantz 7T! Coming from the US, it is 110V so I will obviously need a step-down. Having never had the need for one, I have no idea what I should be looking for in my research: Is a standard old step-down sufficient for an audiophile set up? Should I be looking at one specifically made for hifi? pros & cons? brands? Hoping the wise heads of SNA could provide me with some guidance & recom
  9. @ThisMustBeThePlace surely this is where that bass money is going?

  13. Hey everyone, I seem to be having a similar issue with my add: Has been over 14 days, but it hasn't been tagged as 'Expired', nor have I the ability to repost? I have tried on my iPhone, Chrome & Firefox. Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I edited the title on the 13th? Any suggestions? Thanks!
