  1. I’ve had a few bourbon’s prior and that dram was the last during late lunch! Now moved onto.. ***** Coffey Vodka; 40% alc; Japan. 94/100
  2. Russel’s Reserve - Single Barrel; Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, USA. 750ml; 55% alc. 95/100
  3. Longmorn 16 Single Malt Whisky; 48% alc; Speyside, Scotland. 95/100 👌
  4. I do. It’s quite different to most other whiskeys I have. Definitely gets better as it opens up and has a savoury Christmasy quality to it. master of malt tasting notes: Nose: Fruitcake and plum pudding, with a good dollop of brandy butter. Palate: Orchard fruit drenched in toffee, dark chocolate shavings, clove, fig and nutmeg. Finish: A soft hint of toasted brown sugar, before another wave of stewed berries and cinnamon.
  5. New edition. Teeling Brabazon Series 3, 14yr Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey; 49.5% alc, Ireland. (Finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks). 87/100.
  6. Highland Park 18 Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Orkey Islands, Scotland. 43% alc. 99/100 Although I have some dearer and rarer scotches in my collection, this dram is the most well balanced and still puts a smile on my face, a personal favourite.
  7. Redbreast 12, Single Pot Still whiskey, 40% alc. Ireland. 90/100

  9. New addition to the stable. The Macallan 15 Double Cask; 43% alc. Highlands, Scotland. 92/100.
  10. Well played. A nice stop over on the way to Portarlington! Must refresh my palate with that winery. Enjoy

  15. James Squire Broken Shackles Lager; 4.6% alc; Camperdown, NSW, Australia.
