  1. Make sure the tape monitor switch is in the correct position... Show us a picture of the front and rear panel.
  2. 2 of these are sold.. 2 still available. Contact me for details if you are interested in a pair Thanks
  3. There is also often an overlap between different "parts in stock" when a transition is made between one model / series and the next.. so anything is possible !
  4. I only saw one picture with the larger dust cover on google images after Glenn mentioned his were larger... It was on an auction site and clearly showed on the cast chassis between the magnet and face T2619 MK2 For some reason now the images won't load There was also this written in the item description.. The T2619 is an upgraded later variant to the T1600, although it can of course be used as a replacement for the T1600 ( its dust cap may be larger ).
  5. Hi Simon, The price is as the listing says Postage to the UK would be very expensive, and the way things are, probably take at least a couple of months. The drivers weigh close to 4kg each... plus packaging... it adds up and nothing gets out of Oz cheap.
  6. Further information: Pair of Kef B300 (SP1060) 12" Bextrene Bass Drivers from the first run of the legendary Model 105 speakers (1977-1979) Still mounted to their original front baffles with the original onboard 400hz crossovers.. Perfect for direct replacement with your existing ones or to keep as backup spares for your favorite vintage speakers. They will be packed as a pair, intact as they are shown, in a suitable sturdy box with lots of padding and protection. I have various other parts for these speakers not included in this sale: Let me know if you are interested. Photos:
  7. Not like George Clooney 😀 .. just handy if you need a pair for replacements or spares. They are in amazing condition for drivers made in the early seventies I'm sure with some measurements, they would perform well in a custom new design too.
  8. Further information: 4 x Celestion HF1300 15ohm Square face midrange/tweeter also used in "Rogers Studio 1" model. They have original mounting gaskets and all measure around 12ohms DCR +- 0.3ohms Check the photo's for condition.. there are what appears to be fine hair line fractures off of many of the screw and mounting holes on the face plate... But on much closer inspection, you can see that they derived from the mold/casting process... thought I'd mention it for those with an eye for detail ! Photos:
  9. Further information: 2 x Rola / celestion T1600 12" Bass drivers. Used in Ditton models 25 / 44 / 66 They are in beautifully preserved original condition.. measuring 4.0ohms and 4.2ohm DCR They have been stored in a dry timber sideboard for the last 10+ years. Everything is still stuck where and how it is meant to be ! Surrounds, spiders and even have the original mounting gasket. There is no rubbing of the voice coils, very good clean excursion. I have lots of other drivers for sale in other listings, so have a look if these are your flavour. Photos:
  10. Further information: These came out of the same Ditton 25 enclosures as the T1600 Bass drivers and Celestion HF1300's also listed. All original and functioning as they should. All the rubber surrounds are supple and flexible. As you can see in the photos.. the plastic mounting shells that the ABR panels are supported by, are different colours.. one black.. the other off white. Photos:
  11. I have a friend who has another one too, if anyone was looking for a pair...
  12. Further information: I have a single Goodmans X.O.5000 in its original blow molded case. Have a good look at the photos for condition.. all four corners are still there.. (often broken on the inside of the mounting holes...) There is some minor de-lamination of the pill shaped portion where it meets the flat rear portion.. a thin bead of super glue would rectify it but the buyer may want to do such a thing themselves or just leave it. I think the two sections were originally sealed by heat alone. Price includes Sign on Collection post.. very well padded and packed ! 13. Further information: I have one single Goodmans Midax Horn Speaker that is not needed. If anyone is looking for an orphan.. here it is ! It measures 10.2 DCR .. is complete and in good used vintage condition. It was tested and working as it should a couple of weeks ago when I sold an original goodmans crossover. Sign on collection delivery included in price.. it will be double boxed and well padded to ensure it arrives safe. Dinga Pup not included ! ! 14. Further information: The Ashly XR 2001, differs from your standard active crossover as it can operate in the following configurations : *Four channel 2-way, (This may be useful for Bi-Amping 4 individual foldback speakers, or surround sound setups, or where you need more than the normal 2 input signals.) *Stereo 3-way, (Standard 2 channel Stereo input,.. Bass Mid Treble output per channel) *Mono 4-way, (One mono channel input.. divided into 4 x outputs. ) *Mono 5-way. (One mono channel input.. divided into 5 x outputs. ) Another feature which is exclusive to Ashly is the "Response Control" which as they put it: "adjusts the damping of the filter affecting the response shape of the filters at the crossover point" Further information can be found here regarding this and all other features https://ashly.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/xr-1001-2001-4001-crossovers-r01.pdf This unit was made in the USA.. build quality is amazing with thick overlapping steel chassis all round... It is designed to be serviced not thrown away, has multi pin connectors between the rear socket circuit boards and the filter circuit boards. I Changed it from 120V to 240V by moving the jumpers adjacent to the internal transformer after consolation via email with Ashly technical support in the US.. (still have the emails) and the gentleman I messaged was very helpful and friendly. This unit has never seen much use and has been rack mounted for storage purposes with plastic captive bolt protectors.... however, there are a few marks to the finish here and there but generally it is good clean working condition.. use the pictures to be your own judge and if anyone would like more pictures, let me know. Price includes sign on collection postage within Australia, It will be double boxed and packed with great care and thought ! 15. That is American White Oak veneer. It's a relatively hard timber but like most other oaks, has deep coarse grain in it's pattern. The glue is definitely from a tube or glue gun given the "nozzle" pattern. Liquid nails is the go to hack glue for DIY and does go dry and chalky when old. With patience and a sharp blade.. (chisel or standard Stanly knife blade), lay the blade at a low angle to remove the bulk of the glue then at an almost square to surface angle, scrape at the residue till the veneer gradually appears where the glue was. Buy a sheet each of 240, 320, 400 grit sand paper and a cork block I think sanding is always going to be needed to get a clean even surface.. 240 grit would be the coarsest I would use.. go with the grain... go through the grades finishing at 400 grit If you don't want to go down the full refinish road... (lacquer varnish estapol ect) A good quality buffing oil or soft beeswax can give a nice satin, natural finish that suits the oak best and can be easily reapplied to get the finish you desire.
