  1. Thanks guys. Noted. On a different topic, how noticeable in term of sound leaking an open back headphone in an office environment where your colleague is a meter away from you? I travel on the train and see and heard lot of sound leaking (annoying) from people wearing earphone! I'm wondering an open back one would be even worse.
  2. Hi All, I'm looking for a closed back headphone to be used in my workplace. I'm after something under 1k new or used. I'm pretty new to this, I'm using a AT M50x at the moment connects directly to a Dell laptop. Appreciate any recommendation. Thanks.
  3. Tempting...is this running latest firmware Snowmass?
  4. Someone in WTB looking for this. P.s. lovely and professional product shots.
  5. Interesting! Rob Watt himself said a lps would make no different to the Qutest. I gotta try that. Thanks for your input.
  6. Are you using the psu that comes with it or a different LPS?
  7. Item: MF A308 Location: 3044 Price: $800 Item Condition: Good condition (8.5/10) see extra info. Reason for selling: upgrading Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: bought from eBay but later found out he also posted here. For full disclosure, either the guy was not honest or just me not checking carefully before buying, the guy told me nothing wrong but as soon as I got it home, the volume pot sometimes creating scratchy noise in the speaker when quickly changing volume up or down . It is perfectly okay if changing through the remote. I was told by the local service centre that the volume pot need servicing, quoted 150-200 and 3-4 weeks waiting. I have not done that since I have nothing to replace and it is ok through the remote. Due to this, I priced it accordingly. Happy to answer any further questions. P.s. it can do HT bypass through Aux2 input. I have no box, and it's very heavy so local pick up is preferred. Pictures:
  8. Cool. That's quick. Pls pm me for contact details. Cheers.

    SOLD: Curious USB cable 0.8m

    Wow. Bargain...
  12. @HumanMedia totally agree with you regarding burn in period. My 1st week or two with Qutest, the sound was really harsh in the treble. After that it's getting smoother and lot of detail. I have problems with playing DSD direct though. I'm feeding it with microRendu. Music files are stored in local Synology NAS and feed to the mRendu via DLNA. If I turn on the direct dsd in the microRendu setting screen, when playing DSD files at any bitrate, i can hear lot of cracking noises. It does not happen with DSD over PCM mode. Another minor issue is output level with DSD seems lower than PCM. I always have to turn up the volume 1 or 2 level higher.
