  1. I own this phono plus the external power supply. Unreal. Will need to spend many more thousands to get a better sound. It really packs a punch! GLWTS.
  2. As a fellow VPI owner, I can't stress how well made these products are. The customer/support from Matt and the team are tremendous. I'm sure this will make someone very happy.

  5. Good to see there are still 3rd party products that are taking over the mantle.. VPI also has a new speed controller called the ADS which is meant to be quite good. Question though...do the products you mention adjust the speed on the fly like the Phoenix products do? This feature alone is what sold me. The ADS or SDS for that matter does not do this
  6. Finally found an Eagle and Roadrunner from the US after reading this post Steam. WHAT FANTASTIC PRODUCTS! If you want an easy, peace of mind solution for speed control I can not recommend this enough. Piano instrumentals sound tight and unwavering. Bass sounds more pronounced and less motor vibration once the table warms up with the units. Tought to get now they stopped making them but if you come across them still worth paying the premium. As Steam said, easy to set up...took about 20 mins and work great with all VPI tables. Thanks for the recommendation.
  7. Item: Phoenix Engineering Eagle PSU + Roadrunner (ideally, but will take either separately) Price Range: 1400 AU for both, $800AU for Eagle, 500 for roadrunner Item Condition: Can be new or used Extra Info I'm willing to pay for postage also if a seller can pack them securely . Please don't forget to report your post as FOUND when possible. (You can now delete this text).
  8. If I hadn't bought my Classic just a week ago I would have bought this! What an amazing deck! Out if interest what cartridge sounded the best with this table?
  9. I'm so sorry Scotch it's just been picked up..
  10. Thanks mate. Just ordered a VPI Classic :):):)
