  1. Fenda,I agree. I find AS1100 to bright, probably thanks to the dude so called ,, audiophile sound expert,, who audition/approved sound and probably paid ( yet failed IMO) by Yamaha sound test/production. (have a look on ytube) Yamaha should stick with their own engineers (not a sound clowns). Don't get me wrong guys,I am satisfied/fan of Yammies for 20+ years with their amps in past including highly regarded Pacifica guitar, but not every product is same. I buy AS1100 without audition, knowing Yammies for their soft/neutral sound from past amp, components,ect.Having just over a 2 months I am not sure brake-in period will improve much,yet I am shocked, how infact overbright is for yamaha standards....
