  1. I sold my Primaluna DiaLogue Premium HP integrated to raise funds towards my Weston Artisan. I used the Primaluna for a long time, and was very satisfied with it. In between (whilst patiently waiting for my build) I was running a Sansui au-101, which is a super little amp, and could happily live with that as my main if I had to. I'm not good with explaining "how does it sound?" but the Weston sounds everything I had hoped. Full but not bloated and flabby. Top end is crystal clear. Vocals and guitars sound great (better than any amp before it). I expected some speaker hum, but I'm not hearing any, it's super quiet. It's exceeded my expectations (both look and sound)
  2. I think I got the second last build of the year Artisan 150 (5th one built I believe) its a monster of an amp. I love the look and the sound of it
  3. FYI: you can mix and match the shelves with these racks. I was using these racks like this until recently:
  4. I'd prefer not to. They are pretty heavy. The s3-4 is about 30kgs. And I'd have to break them down, and I didn't keep any of the packaging

  8. Thankyou for your thoughts/feedback on the Tempest
  9. Hi All, Interested to hear from those who have experience with both... I currently run a Primaluna Dialogue Premium HP (integrated). Have had it for a few years now, since new. It's a quality amp which I enjoy. Yet I'm intrigued by Earle's creations. I guess from what I can tell, the closest comparison would be the Tempest KT120 (I currently run KT120s in the Primaluna). The Tempest outputs 60watts per per ch What are peoples thoughts of potentially moving from the PL to a Weston? Anyone made that switch themselves (even the other direction)? Would it be a side-grade, down-grade, upgrade? I guess I mostly listen to rock, but not exclusively, and I like to crank the volume every now and then. Cheers

  13. nah, I can't comment. I haven't heard them in the flesh (yet) Steve Deckert has a few videos of his Zen Triode running the F15s running open baffle on the Decware webpage and on youtube
  14. You could go with the Lii Audio F15 (just like in your example pics). Apparently they work really well with low power tube SET amps (like Decware Zen Triode) here's an example of the Lii F15 in an open baffle design: http://www.caintuckaudio.com/Lii_15.html
