  2. Item: Accuphase DAC50 option board Location: Melbourne Price: $1000 including shipping in Australia Item Condition: Like new Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal Extra Info: Released in late 2017, DAC50 is the first Accuphase DAC option board that supports DSD. It was purchased by me in 2018 (RRP $1750) and should still be under warranty for over 3 years. With original box, manual and CD. This can be used in many Accuphase integrated amplifers and preamps. Check http://www.accuphase.com/cat/option_board.pdf for details. Catalog and technical details: http://www.accuphase.com/cat/dac-50_e.pdf http://www.accuphase.com/technical_information/dac-50_technical_information.pdf Found some discussion about it: http://www.stereo.net.au/forums/topic/251548-accuphase-dac-50-add-on-card/ Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  3. Item: Accuphase E460 integrated amplifier with DAC50 DAC board Location: Melbourne Price: $5500 $5000 + delivery fee if required Item Condition: Good Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal Extra Info: Both the amplifier and the DAC50 board are Australian stock. The E460 was bought from SNA and as far as I know, the first owner bought it in 2013 (RRP should be around 10k). It was the highest powered (180Wx2) class AB integrated amplifier from Accuphase. Released in late 2017, the DAC50 is the first Accuphase DAC option board that supports DSD. It was purchased by me in 2018 (RRP $1750) and should still be under warranty for over 3 years. I have the original box but the plastics are incomplete. If shipping is required, I will use another box which would fit the amplifier nicely with good foam protection. Buyer will have to send back the box to me and I will also send the original box separately if required. 4. Don't forget you can also claim TRS refund for the GST if you buy it locally within 2 months before any international travel. Easy enough for headphones.
  5. I like connecting my favourite earphones to a tiny bluetooth player like Fiio BTR1/BTR3 or Earstudio ES100. They have a better DAC than most bluetooth earphones/headphones and you can just use any fancy earphones/headphones which has a 3.5mm plug. Not exactly wireless but I would rather not having the bluetooth receivers in my ears. If your earphones/headphones have detachable cables, you can probably get shorter cables.
  6. I think C-079 should be Oyaide plug. Length?
  7. I remember it can be only a simple jumper change to change the input voltage (depending on the version of the sclk-ex board in the ultra). I still have the link in my notes: www.sotm-audio.com/sotmwp/english/sclk-ex-extra-power-input/ , which seems not working any more (strangely www.sotm-audio.com is also blocked by opendns).
  8. Thanks for all the interests and comments! The amp is currently pending for pickup, with another potential buyer in the line.
  9. Item: Luxman L-590AX class A integrated amplifier Location: Melbourne Price: $4000 Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal Extra Info: I don't have the box and manual. For local pickup only at the moment. I can deliver it if buyer is not too far away. This is rated at 30W into 8 ohms or 60W into 4 ohms in class A. I think it actually can switch to class AB to provide more power. The following review got 79W into 8 ohms and 148W into 4 ohms from measurements: https://translate.google.com/translate?depth=1&hl=en&ie=UTF8&prev=_t&rurl=translate.google.com.au&sl=auto&sp=nmt4&tl=en&u=http://audio.com.pl/testy/stereo/wzmacniacze-stereo/941-l-590ax Pictures:
  10. Item: Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 6XX Headphones (can include a free 3.5mm TRRS balanced cable) Location: Melbourne Price: $250 including shipping Item Condition: Excellent, total use time should be less than an hour Reason for selling: I always prefer IEMs as I never feel comfortable with headphones. Bought this only for curiosity but have never finished a complete song with it! Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal Extra Info: This was bought about a year ago from Massdrop. Comes with box, manual, 6.5mm adapter, and also the original shipping box. The 3.5mm TRRS balanced cable can be included for free optionally. I bought it from an SNA member but only found out months later that it didn't work at all. I figured out that the cable was actually terminated incorrectly. Since I am not good in soldering, I just re-terminated it with a screw-type plug and wrapped it with tapes to make it work. If you are good in soldering, it should be easy to terminate it with whatever plug you want. I am also including the Shure 3.5mm TRRS plug that came with the cable. Pictures:
