    I have a few of these. Actually they use silver wire specially sourced by Garry. RRP was 650'ish at the time. Translated, they punch in the 1000+ category. Great buying here. GLWTS

    Great amp. Very transparent, smooth and full. What goes in comes out. I was running this direct from the DAC and it was superb. Now looking for a nice tube Pre to go in front. GLWTS

    Brahms - Piano Concerto No. 1 - Alfred Brendel (1974) [24-48] This brooding work is IMO the pinnacle of Brahms, and his chef d'oeuvre. Like Orson Welles he peaked early. Great performance here as could be expected by the marquee. Coming in at just under 50, not too wayward

    I had the (much) bigger brother the PM665. Very true that the HK high current amps really delivered dynamics above and beyond the power rating. At this price anyone would be very happy. GLWTS
