  1. Beethoven - The 5 Piano Concertos - Arthur Rubinstein (2023) [24-96] 1950s Stereo. Nice remaster. The piano is pristine.
  2. Serge Gainsbourg - L'Homme A Tete De Chou (1976) [vinyl rip - 24bit-96kHz] {Original French pressing}
  3. Al Stewart - Year of the Cat This gets a spin a few times a week around here.
  4. Other Lives - Other Lives (2009) Sounds just as awesome today.
  5. Not such a fancy Talisker here. Times are tough! But the music is sweet Cheers all.
  6. This would be in its prime about now. I can almost taste it! What was on the menu out of interest?
  7. I have a few of these. Actually they use silver wire specially sourced by Garry. RRP was 650'ish at the time. Translated, they punch in the 1000+ category. Great buying here. GLWTS
  8. Very musical sub. Don't forget the BT app that controls literally everything from your armchair! GLWTS
  9. Great amp. Very transparent, smooth and full. What goes in comes out. I was running this direct from the DAC and it was superb. Now looking for a nice tube Pre to go in front. GLWTS
  10. Jane Birkin - Ex Fan des Sixties (1978) [Vinyl Rip - 24bit-96kHz] {Original French pressing}
  11. The Alan Parsons Project - 1988 - The Instrumental Works (24bit-44.1kHz)
  12. Brahms - Piano Concerto No. 1 - Alfred Brendel (1974) [24-48] This brooding work is IMO the pinnacle of Brahms, and his chef d'oeuvre. Like Orson Welles he peaked early. Great performance here as could be expected by the marquee. Coming in at just under 50, not too wayward
  13. I have the same combo. As many of us around here know, you'd need to spend a LOT more to upgrade from this. GLWTS
  14. Anyone looking for a new or spare deck can't go past this. Great buying here. GLWTS
  15. Peteris Sipolnijeks, Leonarda Daine - The Big Organ Of Riga Dom - 1968 (RE1972)
  16. One of his best Dacs ever. It also has a screen and volume.... I have the Grob and the Fein II is a significant upgrade. Bargain here. GLWTS
  17. Haven't listened to this one in years. Sitting lonely on a shelf.. What a treasure!
  18. Wise words from Sekiguchi san
  19. I also had this amp for several years and still regret not holding on to it. Power with finesse is right. Very musical. GLWTS
  20. On the ridiculous price of Scotch these days...
  21. These are great speakers. Paired with a sub they are superb. They are not at all embarrassed in much more expensive company. GLWTS
  22. I have this. It is a very good and musical sub. The app can configure anything from the comfort of your chair incl EQ etc. GLWTS
  23. I had the (much) bigger brother the PM665. Very true that the HK high current amps really delivered dynamics above and beyond the power rating. At this price anyone would be very happy. GLWTS
  24. You have certainly come to the right place Mark. Life will never be the same Welcome
