  2. Thanks for the feedback, I haven't traded here for long so I actually don't know the protocol. On the other trading forum I use, the more accepted behaviour is making an offer in the thread for full transparency for everyone so that's what I did here. I apologies if this offended anyone.
  3. Not too sure if this is allowed but I came across this ad on gumtree. It's actually a good samaritan who has found a pair of Sennheiser headphones and is trying to locate the original owner: https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/burwood/headphones-earphones/found-sennheiser-headphones/1191845184 I messaged him thank him and to tell him that he's doing a good deed, he asked if I knew where else he could post his enquiry to help find the original owner. So I offered to post here to in hopes of helping the headphones make their way home. If you know someone who has lost a pair of Sennheiser headphones recently, send them to the gumtree ad!
  4. They were unfortunately misplaced and I can't find them anymore.

  10. Hi gang, I've got two headphones I am regrettably putting up for sale due to an unfortunate personal emergency. HiFiMAN HE-400i open back planar magnetic: $500 http://www.addictedtoaudio.com.au/product/hifiman-he-400i-magnetic-planar-headphones Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80-Ohm closed back: $200 http://headphones.com.au/psingle?productID=970 Both are in brand new condition and come with the original packaging and all accessories. They have had little use in a clean office environment only a few hours every week and have always been stored on headphone stands when not in use. They were a perfect open and closed combo pair for me and covered a wide range of music genres: classical, jazz, EDM, rap, hip-hop, rnb etc. I would use the DT770 when I wanted to listen at louder volumes without disturbing my work colleagues and would switch to the HE400i when I was in the need for some open sound stage for classical or jazz. The DT770 is the 80-Ohm version and comes with an invoice from Addicted to Audio (AU local store) dated 04/07/2016 with remainder of warranty intact. The HE400i is the newer version with 2.5mm connectors (instead of the older version with the proprietary connectors) and comes with invoice from DMA Audio (HiFiMAN authorised dealer in HK store) dated 23/05/2016 with the remainder of international warranty intact. I am located at Martin Place CBD in Sydney so can meet up anywhere around Wynyard/Circular Quay/Town Hall etc. Given that this is my first sale on stereo, my preference is for pick up so that the purchaser can inspect the headphones in person. Shipping is also an option as long as you're willing to cover the postage costs. Please let me know if anyone has any questions. Cheers!
  11. Thanks for the welcome guys! Yep I'm already a member at headfi, a place that's equally as dangerous as here!
  12. Hi gang! I came across your forums from WP and thought I'd sign up as I love reading user experiences/feedback/impressions/reviews of audio equipment. Bit of a background information of me: - My first real headphones were the Audio Technica ATH-ES7's (still have them!) - Current other headphones: Beyerdynamic DT-770 80 Ohm (for work), Sennheiser Momentum 1 Over-ears (commuting) & Jaybird X2 wireless earbuds (for gym), Pioneer HDJ-2000 (for the occasional DJ gig) - Previously owned headphones: Aiaiai TMA-1, Aiaiai TMA-1 Studio, Sennheiser HD25-1 II, Audio Technica ATH-M50X, Logitech UE4000 - Other equipment I own: Calyx Coffee USB DAC/AMP, Schiit Modi/Magni Stack As you can see, the majority of my headphones have been closed back models. This is because I don't like imposing the people around me when I'm listening to my music at louder volumes. However.. a friend at work has recently lent me his Sennheiser HD600's and this open/airy sound without heat has piqued my interest. I hope I haven't started another expensive hobby.. who am I kidding? Of course I have! Other expensive hobbies of mine are: photography equipment, computer parts and laptops as well as cars & car audio a long time ago. Hope to see you all around!
