Fair enough, everyone is entitled to have their own opinion. As Marc asked above it would be interesting to know what backround everyone has just so we know who we are talking to. I've been in the Home Automation business for around 14years, started out as a tech and now a integrator & programmer. I have worked mostly overseas in Europe where Cbus is not known but in my time here in down under i have seen many Cbus jobs that usually involve cbus for lighting and some other control system like Crestorn or Control4 that is integrated with Cbus to control the rest of the house. I currently work for a company that does Cbus and has many Cbus projects on its back BUT only used for lighting. Any older projects that had Push are now being replaced by Crestron which is considered the No.1 in home automation. Again many may disagree, but a simple google search between Crestron and Cbus will answer any questions as Crestron & Control4 are known worldwide and Cbus, well you know.!! Also, for those who are fans of Cbus, please show me your interface very curious to se what it looks like.

CBus is not Home Automation but a lighting system and not a very good one in fact(many may disagree) and that is why it's only known and used in Australia. Crestron and Control4 systems give you the ability to integrate with 3rd party systems and are a custom solution which means that you can program it to conlrol probably anything. Systems like this are not meant for the average end users that want to put their finger in everything and that is why those companies do not target those specific groups of end users.

Selling this receiver in great condition. It has been used for many years in second room (study) and for the last year was used to power a pair of atmos speakers with a RXA3040 seen in one of the pictures. Its not one of the latest tech receivers but its got HDMI ins and out and has a very nice sound.
