  1. Further information: The amp works very well but I have, on testing, noticed a slight occasional distortion. I had to listen carefully but it some times appears. I suspect a bad cap. This should be an easy fix. The amp has both MM and MC and is a truly fine phono section. The remote also works perfectly. Local pickup is preferred as it is very heavy but I can ship this item if required. No original box but will pack carefully. 2. Further information: This unit is in mint condition and is perfect,, and was used for LP storage. But, I have moved to a small unit and therefore I do not need two units, therefore this one must go. It can be easily dismantled for transport, or , can be moved whole if you have a vehicle large enough. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  3. Further information: War not my scene, others will love it. Comes in a very nice tin. Well presented. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  4. Further information: Discs are in good condition but the boxes only fair. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  5. Further information: All are in good condition. I look after my records. Classical and some jazz and all come in outer sleeves. At this price it is a matter of suck it and see but they are not opp shop fare. The outer sleeves are just about worth it on there own. 6. Further information: Vintage LP carry case. Old but in quite nice condition. Zip could do with some careful lubricating but not broken. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  7. Further information: Unused but connected for testing. I moved into a small unit and have nowhere for the project. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  8. Hi. I have just downloaded a 6.3 gig music file in wav. It has come down as one big file, no tracks, as an APE CDimage but no cue. Try as I might Medieval cue Splitter will not work without the cue. I have used Medieval in the past and it is fine but not without the cue. Can anyone suggest a way that can split the file as it stands or how can I create a cue for the splitter? Cheers. Martin.
  9. Hi. I had the same trouble with my Denon HEOS link HS2. I solved it by doing the following. 1. If your unit is in the rack try putting it next to the modem and try again. If this does not work, try this. 2. Connect using a cable to the Lan ports. Then check setting to move it to the wifi. This finally did it for me. I can't guarantee this will work with the Aries but it's worth a try. My Denon hasn't had any problems since. Good luck.
  10. Hi. I have just purchased the Denon HEOS Link HS2 streamer from a member of Stereonet and a fine unit it is too. However how did a respected company like Denon ever develop such a terrible app. I play most of my music via the usb from a HDD. It plays the music stored within very nicely indeed, no complaints. But it plays around with the track numbering and it makes no sense with the genres, I have all my music set up by genre. If browsing by folders the tracks are in alphabetical order but browsing by albums they are in numerical order. It just doesn't play the HDD in any sensible way at all. I used to have a Pro-Ject streambox ds net.Their app was very simple and basic but it worked perfectly and was easy to navigate. So, my question is, does anyone else have this problem or is it just me and, if so, what am I doing wrong?
  11. Further information: It works in all ways but has no output. This was a sudden fault and I have not got the skills to repair it. Cosmetically it is pretty good . It can handle, internet radio, streaming services and HDD or flash drive via USB. using the free Stream Box app. It was the net version but I did a reset to see if it would fix the output problem, It did no,t and now it will need updating to the Net version. Instructions for doing this are included. The asking price reflects state of the unit. Current pricing is around the $1000.00 mark. It was terrific when it was working.
