  1. Item: SONY WF-1000xm3 Location: melbourne Price: $320 Item Condition: Excellent, near new Reason for selling: Wife doesn’t like :( Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: This is the long awaited active noise cancellation earphones WF-1000XM3, being the baby brother of the popular WH-1000XM3. Only recently launched in Australia in July, these have been getting mad reviews and being rated the best Active Noice Cancellation earphones in the market now. I got this at when it was just released, bought a pair for myself and my wife. Unfortunately, she doesn’t like earbuds so these are now for sale. Never really worn and had them for fitting only. So these are practically still new. Currently selling at JB for $399.95 Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  2. LOL Hey mate! Hope you're enjoying the Elektra. I had the AV7703 matching with the Elektra and it was a pretty good match!
  3. Item: FS: Chord Chameleon Vee 3 RCA Interconnects 2 metres x 3 cables Location: Melbourne Price: $240 Item Condition: 10/10 Reason for selling: No longer required, moved to XLR interconnects Payment Method: Cash, Paypal, Direct Transfer, (Posting available for an additional $10) Extra Info: Enjoyed using these cables for my Front staging (Front + Center) channels. Clear and transparent which shines in either Stereo listening or Movies. This listing is for 3 of the Chord Chameleon Vee 3 in 2 meters length, selling as a set. RRP for these 3 cables are about $450 The Cable The Chord Chameleon VEE 3 uses Chord’s established Chameleon SilverPlus cable. The conductors though have been re-configured into a single signal and dual return configuration to improve definition and timing. The multi-stranded silver-plated oxygen free copper conductors are insulated with FEP, a combination of materials that improve signal transfer at frequency extremes. A cotton fibre conductor wrap reduces mechanical noise and a fully floating high frequency effective, high density braid and foil shielding combination minimises signal loss through interference. The shields are surrounded by soft PVC to further reduce mechanical noise and this is protected by a hard PVC outer casing. The Plugs The Chameleon VEE 3 is fitted with Chord’s custom VEE 3 RCA plugs. The new design of the ABS outer shell and the unique silver-plating process applied to the contact areas improves signal transfer across a wide frequency range. The signal return surround provides a secure high pressure contact with all types of RCA sockets. The centre pin is insulated with PTFE and the design of the plug and ABS outer shell provides good strain relief without compressing the cable and compromising performance. Use it with The Chameleon VEE 3 is a remarkable interconnect, with a set of performance characteristics that are associated with high end cable designs. There is the DNA of Sarum within the Chameleon’s design and build. This means that the Chameleon VEE 3 is a remarkably transparent cable that gets used and enjoyed in a wide range of systems from entry level to high end. It is a very good way of finding out what the components in your system are doing and often discovering that they are quite a lot better than you thought. Pictures:
  4. Luckily the names are not put in reverse order! Lol GLWTS
  5. Thanks. It took me a long time to find one but it’s unfortunately I need to prioritise other things in life.
  6. Item: Rotel RB 1090 power amp Location: Melbourne Price: $1700 ONO Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: No longer needed, consolidating audio gears Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only, No posting Extra Info: This power amp was Rotel's flagship and is still a significant amp till today. Boasting 380w per channel @ 8 ohms, it's essentially two mono amps being shoved into a single chassis. It's sheer weight at 40kgs is nothing short of reflecting the amount of power it's channeling out. The unit accepts both Balanced and Unbalanced output which can be selected using the switch. The 4 speaker terminals also be used for bi-amping your speakers. It's hard to come by for an amp like this in such excellent condition. The amp was recently serviced and recapped (costed me about $600) so it will be a bonus for the next owner to take home. This unit weighs around 40kgs so posting interstate this is definitely out of question. It's also listed elsewhere. Here are some excerpts from Rotel: The RB-1090 stands as the premiere example of Rotel's award- winning prowess in amplifier design. At 9.5" tall and close to 100 lbs. in weight, it is a truly formidable power source for the most demanding systems. Essentially two separate amplifiers sharing only a chassis and power cord, the RB-1090 is capable of putting out 380 watts per channel RMS (both channels driven into 8 ohms from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with less than 0.03% THD). Each of the RB-1090's two totally Independent power supplies is based on two large 1.25 kVA custom made, multiple-secondary toroidal ransformers and four 22,000 µf Slit Foil storage capacitors. This enormous potential feeds an output stage with four pair of power transistors, each rated at over 200 watts with more than 17 amps current capability. (Remember, these are figures for only one of the RB-1090's two channels!) The result is truly prodigious output, making the RB-1090 more than able to meet the worst speaker-induced torture tests. The RB-1090 is stable down to 2 ohms and delivers peak power in excess of 1000 watts under these demanding conditions. But the RB-1090's real worth lies in its flexibility and sound quality. With both balanced (XLR) and single-ended (RCA) inputs and dual sets of heavy duty, "biwire-ready" 5 way binding posts, the RB-1090 easily interfaces with an encompassing range of system components. The RB-1090 also features a detachable power cord. Sound quality, the raison d'etre for this amplifier's existence, is stunning. Authoritative bass response extends to below the limits of hearing while mid and high frequencies emerge with a supple liquidity. The result is absolutely involving. You'll literally feel the spirit of whatever source you choose. Description: Solid-state stereo power amplifier. Power output: 380Wpc into 8 ohms (25.8dBW), 700Wpc into 4 ohms, (25.4dBW), both 20Hz–20kHz, <0.03%. THD: <0.03%. IM distortion (60Hz:7kHz, 4:1): <0.03%. Frequency response: 10Hz–100kHz, ±1dB. Damping factor (20Hz–20kHz, 8 ohms): 1000. Speaker impedance (combined): 4 ohms minimum. S/N ratio (IHF A network): 125dB. Input impedance/sensitivity: 33k ohms/1.8V. THX Ultra certified. Power consumption: 800W. Pictures:
  7. I’m not quite sure what would be the benefit of upgraded relays. Yes 185w per channels x 7 would suit a HT set up. I’m using it to run 5.1.2, all Tannoy Revolutions except the Atmos and it has plenty of juice.
  8. Added front shot photos of the unit. If if anyone needs rear photos please let me know. Not ready to unplug 14 unlabelled cables as yet in case someone wants to demo the unit.
  9. Sorry for the delay for posting the actual photos. Been a bit of a nightmare weekend with an unwell baby. I’ll try to pull out the amp and take some photos.
  10. I wasn’t told about it when I bought it couple of years ago. So it’s best to assume it’s not been upgraded.
  11. Sorry, I’m not sure about the age of the unit as I am the second owner. If you want to organise your posting e.g. Pack n Send, perhaps it’s something that can be worked out. I don’t have the original box so the courier need to pack it and insure the safe delivery.
