  1. Update .... last dexa clock in my heavily modified Tact 2200 installed ... strange anomalies being heard as it burns in ... ragged treble at times ... but sounding very good nontheless ... using a denon demag disc on repeat ... Sent from my SM-P905 using Tapatalk
  2. That was a most disturbing film ... I remember not wanting to talk to anyone for a good 20 minutes or so after watching it .... Irons at his absolute best ...Sent from my SM-P905 using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks once again db monster ... It would appear that you do indeed know your stuff ... Any idea on the type of oil/ hydrocarbon to be used ... I've heard mention of graphite greases to aid conductivity ... My next project is a chill out room ... -270 °C will be about right ... superconducting my system ! Sent from my SM-P905 using Tapatalk
  4. Wow !!! AMAZING WORK OF ART .... I'd bet they have a stellar sound, and price tags to match !!, .... One day .... Sent from my SM-P905 using Tapatalk
  5. Put dexa neuton star clocking devices ( no not romulun cloaking devices.... that's star trek stuff!) Into your digital devices .... get jitter ( distortion mostly responsible for nasties of digital sound) down to 10 to the minus 15 (femto ) seconds ... WILL AMAZE YOU ! 6. Subsonic ... I'm British , but reside in Johannesburg bud ... that said I still am not completely divorced from the English cricket team , but am now seriously considering it .... !!!! Sent from my SM-P905 using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks sub sonic ... going to some research on these products, especially the lubricant to stop re - oxidation ( the real irony in all of this is that i am an industrial formulation chemist for a CLEANING company !!! Oh dear !)Sent from my SM-P905 using Tapatalk
  8. Check out db monster's comment on ceramic bodied .... before choosing ... Sent from my SM-P905 using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks db monster for lending some support to the issue ... I do indeed use hi - hi tuning fuses from Germany that are ceramic bodied, and the cryogenically treated ones at that(there is a difference). .. always been concerned using 'shaken' brasso ( tried silvo ... not as good ) as the silica it contains is a little too abrasive...will try the toothpaste though ....excellent idea. I find normal toilet paper is abrasive by nature and is good enough to apply and mop up dissolved oxide layer.... always wondered what I could do to delay re oxidation ( other than a vacuum device ) Will try the oil , though I'm worried that it may interfere with the 'current path' ...I didn't realise the mains side implications as previously mentioned by zaphod and now confirmed ... I can clearly hear a bigger difference and thank you both ! Finally would a bigger than specified fuse(within a normal expected safety range of fuse to fail for protection ) allow more current to pass having a lower resistance presumably ? And affect the sound quality ...??? Sent from my SM-P905 using Tapatalk
  10. Digicality better word for digibility , if only in the fact it exists !!!! Sent from my SM-P905 using Tapatalk
  11. May I also suggest you check my comments (and the thumbs up on my final comment by hensa) on the" show us your turntables !!! " forum... Sent from my SM-P905 using Tapatalk
  12. I suggest considering the following possibility that if you saw the difference ,instead of hearing it, you might have more chance of believing the phenomenon exists. Now in the world of digital dvd and blu ray are undeniably better than their vhs or betamax analogue counterparts. .. apply the same current existing situation to audio and ask that same question ... and you find cd or sad are deniably worse than its analogue counterparts vinyl and reel to reel tape . Firstly the question of deniable / undeniable in this statement ... Please take note that exactly the same level of digibility for want of a word , is applied in both current circumstances ... nobody would challenge the visual result .... and the audible one ??? Secondly, that we must accept that vinyl is better , because when money is no option almost all of the hi fi fraternity insist on the analogue format is chosen . (Their ears do the choosing ) Thirdly I suggest if you believe in the 2 above statements and could prove visually that a component you doubted altering in the audible domain , could be shown to alter in the visual domain , you possibility may believe it to be more so ? I ask all to read the thread I started on quartz crystals in this forum , and look at what I've suggested buy some red jasper quartz crystal (dirt cheap) and try out what I claim ... same for the fuses as well of course ... I suggest our ears( maybe )much better able to distinguish and are more critical , but that we just don't believe them .... Your results and thoughts would be greatly appreciated .... 13. I must state it is not my policy to be controversial or confrontational , but merely to provide logical arguments in defence or support of my beliefs. In doing so often i have been accused of employing a certain sense of humour (if I suspect they are just discounted out of hand ) and ask one not to take SERIOUS offence ... I only seek truth ... so I must apologise in advance if that be the case ... Sent from my SM-P905 using Tapatalk
  14. You trying to make me laugh myself to death bud .... my stomach is now hurting !!!! Sent from my SM-P905 using Tapatalk
