  1. These were available in NZ, earlier this week. Tannoy Berkeley HPD, https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=2762256177&archive=1
  2. Sorry to hijack this any further. What do you replace a NAD M51 if you want to buy new? Denafrips Ares II? Chord Qutest? Something from Schiit? Or is NAD M51 comparable to new DACs and further buying as DAC for a few more years?
  3. My thinking was to play a long game. Could have gone P8 with a better cartridge but just wanted the P10 with the ceramic platter and especially RB3000 tonearm. Phono stage is MM only hence requirement for SUT to go MC.
  4. My P10 is still sitting in a box. It's been about a month or so since purchased. Previously owned P25 then P7 and now P10. Had both P25 and P7 for about 10-12 years respectively. Had a bit of a brain explosion during NZ's COVID lock down and decided on wholesale changes to system. Anyway before anyone vomits into their mouth a little, I bought a P10 but couldn't stretch to Apheta 3 MC cart. Tried very hard to negotiate a good deal but just couldn't stretch the budget. Anyway, decided to get an Exact (MM) as a temporary cart before next round of upgrades ie. a SUT and MC cart.
  5. Following with interest. Considered a 2nd hand P9 (from Aus) but bought a new P10 (being in NZ). Interested in cartridge choices for Rega setups.
  6. As I understand it, you can use HOMC with MM phono stage. A Hana EH is about $800 and SH is about $1100.
  7. I’ve been following this thread with interest as I only have MM phono stage. Any reason not to consider HOMC? For example, Hana SH? Are their disadvantages of HOMC vs MM? Or HOMC performance isn’t as good as their equivalent LOMC?
  8. Sorry to hijack this thread, but if anyone is interested I am selling DL-103R with Midas body and ESC upgrade.
  9. I want to buy a Chord Qutest as well. They seem to be a sought after.
  10. Damn. It’s $140 for a new lid in NZ. Everything is cheaper in Aus. 🙂
  11. I meant I’ve never come across a head amp before, only knew of SUT to use with LOMC with MM phono stage. Unfortunately I didn’t manage to pull off a deal to land the Apheta 3. Hence looking at all options.
  12. It's somewhat back to the drawing board. Looking at more options now in terms of cart and SUT..
  13. Here’s a good product for restoring the perspex TT cover (if anyone is interested), https://www.burnsco.co.nz/shop/boating/paint-maintenance/cleaners-polishes/plexus-plastic-cleaner-368g I’m sure you’ll be able to find it in Aus too.
