  1. Hi guys, I have had several amps (Kenwood, Rotel, CA, NAD, Marrantz, Advance Acoustics, Vincent, Cyrus) and my favourite was Cyrus. However, I missed the dynamics, tightness and strength in handling of bass of 851W. Cyrus was also second to none when we say tightness and speed but I feel some difference in handling bass. I feel Cyrus's bass handling is more soft and warm. My Cyrus power amp is X Power with PSX-R. I am curious what other people say about 851W (sound signature) and which amps have similar/better characteristics (strong and tight bass with punch) with 851W.

  3. Is it still available? Sent from my HTC_PN071 using Tapatalk
  4. To me, it looks like Mono to Stereo. I couldn't find one with Stereo to Mono (Female mono and male stereo).
  5. Thanks Hux. I'm using NAD S100(pre) and Vincent SP997(Mono power) for this.
  6. Hi, I need to run only one speaker but I'm worried if connecting only one speaker (using only one channel) to the amplifier is ok or not. I get monoblock power amplifier which seems to safer to me but I still have to connect/use only one channel of preamp. Can anyone explain the effect to amplifier when I use only one channel of Integrated amplifier or preamplifier?
  7. I'm just starting hi-fi stuffs and I want to get some information and opinions. Merry Christmas and happy new year!
