  7. Good evening All Been giving thought to maybe I would get an improvement if there is an increase in the interconnect wires between the crossover and the terminals of the speakers, currently wire diameter is O.D 1.5 mm, inner wire O.D 0.75mm It just seems remarkably small wires in place , in know with fluids an increase connecting hoses will improve performance (of course the end use will determine if its an improvement),would there be an improvement if the wire diameter was increased ? If so, what recommendations for sizing or wire type ? This is on a pair of Wharfdale E50 speakers ,which I'm reviving. Cheers everyone

  9. Hi All I was given a Sanyo MR-920 reel recorder, this is to be my re-entry into this world after alonggggggggggggggg time, actually quite keen to start but first... could anyone help with details ,specs sheets or manuals , or experiences/knowledge , hints, tips or tricks with this model . as well recommendations for new reel tape . It's believed when last working the play head wasn't working ,so that's one fault ,my other concern is for starting this up after quite some years ,what procedures are best followed after basic check by a sparky. Any and all positive feed back is much welcomed Cheers Doug Pictures:
  10. Dear members I have a dual 1249 ,unfortunately got it without any of the original paperwork although have the manuals downloaded I'm some what confused as to the correct power supply (voltage to use) , there is supposed to be a switch to be able to changeover to 240v but there isn't. Also the power cord has a 125v plug and is wired direct BUT there is a label telling me its 240v , along with this the manual mentions if power supply switched from either power frequency there is a change of the drive pulley and resetting the strobe required If anyone can assist would be wonderful Cheers Noddou See Photo attached
